‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,’ the Egmont Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest, at the rate of £4 10s. per centum per annum, and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorised to be raised by the Egmont Road Board under the provisions of ‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,’ for the purpose of forming and metalling the King and Hursthouse Roads, in the County of Taranaki, in parts where at present unmetalled, and within the boundary over which the Egmont Road Board has control, the said Egmont Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¹⁵/₁₆d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Egmont Lower Road Special-rating District, comprising—

and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Such resolution will be passed at a meeting to be held on the 9th January, 1904.

SPECIAL ORDER made by the Masterton County Council, striking a Special Rate under “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in this behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Council of the Masterton County hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest, at the rate of £3 10s. per centum per annum, and other charges on a loan of £200, authorised to be raised by the Masterton County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of forming the Flat Bush Road, the said Masterton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⁷/₁₆d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all the rateable property of the Flat Bush Road Loan Special-rating District, comprising Sections 82, 85, Block XVI., Mangaone Survey District; Sections 16, 88, 89, 90, Block IV., Kopuaranga Survey District; Sections 13, 15, Blocks I. and II., Mangapakeha Survey District; Lots 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, of Section 210, Blocks XIII., Puketoi Survey District, and I., Mangapakeha Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Passed at a special meeting of the Council this 8th day of May, 1902; confirmed by the said Council this 12th day of June, 1902.

PAHIATUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.—Loan 64.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Counties Act, 1886,” the Pahiatua County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £810, authorised to be raised by the Pahiatua County Council under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901” (to supplement a Government grant), for the erection of a traffic-bridge over the Mangahao River at Marima, the said Pahiatua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⁹/₁₆d. in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value for the time being of the sections in the Mangahao Survey District comprising the Marima Bridge Special-rating District, the said sections to be fully, half, or quarter rated, as detailed below: The sections to be rated on full valuation are Sections part 21, part 13, part 8, part 9, part 11, Sections 10, 4, 5, 6, 22, 23, 24, 1, 3, 2, Block XIII., 23, 25, 8, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Block IX., 1, 2, 57, 86, Block X.; the sections to be rated on half-valuation are Sections 56, 59, 60, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 15, Block X., Section 24, Block IX.; the sections to be rated on quarter-valuation are Sections 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 7, 12, 13, 14, Lots 1 and 2 of 17, 21, 22, Block IX., Section 12, Block X.: and that such special rate shall be an annually-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, at 3½ per cent. per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above special order was duly made and passed at a special meeting of the Council on the 7th November, and confirmed at a special meeting on the 23rd December, 1903.

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Counties Act, 1886,” the Pahiatua County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorised to be raised by the Pahiatua County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” to carry out the following works—viz., metalling the upper portion of the Kaitawa Road, commencing at the northern boundary of Section 15, Block I., Puketoi Survey District, to the Pori Road junction; metalling the Pori Road to the county boundary; widening the Mount Marchant track to a 14ft. road from the present formation to about 3 chains below the southern boundary of the 3-acre Reserve No. 6; metalling the Mount Marchant Road from the Pori Junction to about 3 chains below the southern boundary of the 3-acre Reserve No. 6; metalling the Mount Butters Road from the Mount Marchant Road to eastern boundary of Section 10, Block XIII., Makuri—the said Pahiatua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⁹/₁₆d. in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value for the time being of the sections comprising the Pori Special-rating District, as follows:
