NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” and its amendments, unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 2nd day of July, 1904.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between George Whittle Astley and Joseph Greenwood, carrying on business at Hastings as Hatters, Mercers, and Tailors, under the style of “G. W. Astley and Co.,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. The said George Whittle Astley will carry on the business as heretofore, and will pay all liabilities and receive all debts due to the late firm, his receipt being a sufficient discharge for the same.

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE is hereby given that this Council proposes to execute a certain public work—viz., to construct a cart-bridge across the Uawa River, Tolago Bay—and to take, for the purpose of making the necessary approaches, the land described in the following Schedule. The works to be undertaken are the formation of a road and making drains and culverts for the passage of surface water.

Any person having any objection to the taking of this land, or who will be injuriously affected by the execution of the above works, must state his objection in writing, and send the writing to the office of the County Council, Gisborne, within forty days from the date of this notice.

A plan of the land to be taken may be seen at Mr. Agnew’s store, Tolago Bay, and at the office of the County Council, Gisborne.
