In the matter of a Bill the Short Title of which is "The Hamilton Parsonage-site Act, 1904."
NOTICE is hereby given that the General Trust Board for the Diocese of Auckland, a Board incorporated under the provisions of "The Religious, Charitable, and Educational Trust Act, 1884," and having its registered office in Shortland Street, in the City of Auckland, intend to petition and cause application to be made to the General Assembly of New Zealand, at its next session, for leave to bring in a Bill the Short Title of which is "The Hamilton Parsonage-site Act, 1904."
By the said Bill it is intended to empower the Trustees of Allotment No. 50 in the Town of Hamilton West, held for and on behalf of the General Synod of the Branch of the United Church of England and Ireland in New Zealand in trust for a site of a parsonage for the use of a minister of the said Church, to sell or lease all or any part of the said allotment, and to devote the proceeds of such sale or lease to the purpose of providing a residence for the use of a minister of the said Church, or other purposes of the said Church, or to exchange all or any part of the said allotment for other lands and hereditaments, to be used by the purposes of the said Church. Copies of the said Bill will be deposited in the office of the Examiner of Standing Orders on or before the commencement of the next session of the General Assembly.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in the above company, held on 17th May, 1904, the following extraordinary resolution was adopted, viz.: "That it is proved to its satisfaction that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same."

AT a meeting of F. H. WOOD AND SONS (LIMITED), held on the 5th May, 1904, the following special resolution, passed on the 19th April, 1904, was confirmed:—
"That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of 'The Companies Act, 1903,' and that Mr. W. B. Chennells be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up. That the Liquidator be authorised to enter into and carry out an agreement for the sale of the freehold and leasehold property and business of the company for a sum not less than £4,000."

PUBLIC NOTICE.
In the matter of a Bill intituled "An Act to empower the Trustees of the Will of Stephen Cole Moule, deceased, to apply the Income of the Estate in the manner therein provided, and to authorise the Colonial Treasurer to pay an Annual Subsidy to the Local Body receiving Income from the Estate."
Pursuant to the provisions of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives relating to Private Bills.
NOTICE is hereby given, on behalf of the Ashburton and North Canterbury United Charitable Aid Board, being the local body having the management and control of the Old Men’s Home, Ashburton, that application will be made to the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled at its next session for leave to introduce a Bill to be called "The Stephen Cole Moule Trustees Empowering Act, 1904."
The objects of the proposed Bill are to authorise and empower the trustees of the will of Stephen Cole Moule, deceased, to make provision out of the income of the estate for the children of Stephen Cole Moule the younger, deceased, and to empower the Colonial Treasurer to pay out of the Consolidated Fund of the Colony of New Zealand an annual subsidy to the local body or persons having the management and control of the institution known as "The Old Men’s Home, Ashburton," of 10s. in the pound up to £500 in each year for each pound annually received for the benefit of the said institution from the trustees of Stephen Cole Moule’s estate, and authorising and directing the trustees of the said estate to pay the residue and remainder of the net annual income derived from the said estate to the local body or persons for the time being having the management and control of the said institution, whether a subsidy be paid by the Colonial Treasurer or not.
A copy of the said proposed Bill will be deposited in the Examiner’s Office at Wellington on or before the twenty-sixth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and four.
