Counties Act, 1886,” and every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Ohinemuri County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,000, authorised to be raised by the Ohinemuri County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the benefit of portion of the Paeroa Riding of the County of Ohinemuri, for the formation, kerbing, and channeling of footpaths in and around Paeroa Township, the said Ohinemuri County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the portion of the Paeroa Riding of the County of Ohinemuri called or known as “The Paeroa Improvement Special-rating District,” comprising all that area bounded as follows: Commencing at the junction of the right bank of the Waihou River with the left bank of the Komata Stream; thence in a general easterly direction along the left bank of the Komata Stream to its junction with the Old Goldfields Line; thence by a straight line in a south-easterly direction to Trig. Station 85; thence by a straight line in a south-westerly direction to the point where the right bank of the Tarariki Stream intersects the Old Goldfields Line; thence along the right bank of the said Tarariki Stream in a south-westerly direction to its junction with the right bank of the Ohinemuri River; thence by a straight line across the Ohinemuri River to a point where the south boundary of Ouerangi Block intersects the left bank of the Ohinemuri River; thence along the southern boundaries of Ouerangi, Pareroiroi, Manuka No. 3, and Te Waka o Tiki Te Aroha Blocks to a point where it intersects the west boundary of Paeroa–Waitoa Road; thence along the west boundary of Paeroa–Waitoa Road in a south-westerly direction to its junction with the north boundary of Cadman Road; thence in a north-westerly direction along the northern boundary of Cadman Road to the right bank of the Waihou River; thence in a general northerly direction along the right bank of the Waihou River to the point of commencement: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of June and the 31st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I certify that the resolution making this special order was passed at a special meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council held on the 21st day of December, 1903, and confirmed at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 5th day of February, 1904.

Special Order.

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” “The Counties Act, 1886,” “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” and the several amendments of the said Acts, and every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Ohinemuri County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,750, authorised to be raised by the Ohinemuri County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the benefit of portion of the Paeroa Riding of the County of Ohinemuri, for acquiring, laying-out, fencing, forming, and planting a public recreation-ground and public domain at Paeroa, including the necessary buildings and erections, and the purchase of additional land if required, and the preliminary expenses incurred in connection with the scheme, the said Ohinemuri County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the portion of the Paeroa Riding of the County of Ohinemuri called or known as “The Paeroa Improvement Special-rating District,” comprising all that area bounded as follows: Commencing at the junction of the right bank of the Waihou River with the left bank of the Komata Stream; thence in a general easterly direction along the left bank of the Komata Stream to its junction with the Old Goldfields Line; thence by a straight line in a south-easterly direction to Trig. THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” “The Counties Act, 1886,” “The Public Health Act, 1900,” and every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Ohinemuri County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,750, authorised to be raised by the Ohinemuri County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the benefit of portion of the Paeroa Riding of the County of Ohinemuri, for constructing main drains and branch drains and sewerage-works for the Township of Paeroa, the said Ohinemuri County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the portion of the Paeroa Riding of the County of Ohinemuri called or known as “The Paeroa Drainage Special-rating District,” comprising all that area bounded as follows: Commencing at the junction of the right bank of the Waihou River with the left bank of the Tawa Stream, in Block .XII., Waihou Survey District; thence along the left bank of the said Tawa Stream in an easterly direction to its intersection with the west side of railway-line reserve; thence by a straight line to the intersection of the north side Puke Drain Reserve produced with the east side of the Paeroa–Thames Road; thence along the east side of the said Paeroa–Thames Road in a general south-westerly direction to the north-east boundary of the Paeroa Block; thence in a south-easterly and westerly direction along the boundary of the Paeroa Block to its intersection with the right bank of the Ohinemuri River; thence in a general north-westerly direction along the right bank of the Ohinemuri River to its intersection with the south boundary of the Kakanui Block; thence along the south boundaries of the Kakanui and Ouekaharau No. 2 Blocks to the right bank of the Ohinemuri River; thence along the right bank of the Ohinemuri and Waihou Rivers in a northerly direction to the point of commencement: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of June and the 31st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
