Recreation Reserve in Southland Land District brought under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of April, 1904.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for public recreation in the Southland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881”; and such domain shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block IV., Town of Limehills. Bounded towards the north by Marion Street; towards the east by Servia Street; towards the south by Section No. 2 of the said Block IV.; and towards the west by Section No. 17.

Also all that area in Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 6 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 10, 11, 12, and 13, Block IV., Town of Limehills. Bounded towards the north by Marion Street; towards the east by Sections Nos. 14 and 9 of the said Block IV.; towards the south by Atlas Street; and towards the west by Main North Road.

As the same are delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Invercargill.

Declaring Roads in Tauranga County to be County Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of April, 1904.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be county roads.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that road in the Auckland Land District, situated in the Maketu and Otanewainuku Survey Districts, indicated on the plan as lying between points A and the junction of roads at point C, being a road lying along the southern boundary of Sections 22, 29, Block I., Maketu Survey District, and Sections 18, 17, Block III., Te Tumu Survey District; along the northern boundaries of Sections 23, 28, 27, 20, and 19, Block I., Maketu Survey District, and Sections 19, 25, Block IV., Otanewainuku Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161ss, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

Also all that road in the Auckland Land District, situated in the Maketu and Te Tumu Survey Districts, indicated on the plan as lying between the junction of roads at point marked B on the plan and junction of road marked E on the plan, lying along the western boundaries of Sections 29, 21, Block I., Maketu Survey District, part of 19, 9, 8, 7, 3, and part of 5, Block III., Te Tumu Survey District; and on the eastern boundary of Section 18, parts 19, 22, and all of 21, also part of 5, Block III., Te Tumu Survey District: as the same is delineated on plan marked R. 5161ss, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

Also all that road is the Auckland Land District, situated in the Otanewainuku, Maketu, and Tauranga Survey Districts, indicated on the plan as lying between points D at road junction and point F at road junction, lying along the western boundaries of Section 26, Block I., Maketu Survey District, and Block IV., Otanewainuku Survey District; 17, 2, Crown lands, portion of Section No. 1, Block XV., Tauranga Survey District; and the eastern boundaries of Sections 2, 1, Block IV., Otanewainuku Survey District, Crown lands, part of Section No. 1, Block XV., Tauranga Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161ss, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

PERIA–VICTORIA VALLEY ROAD.

ALL that road in the Auckland Land District, being part of the Peria–Victoria Valley Road, commencing at its junction with the Great North Road in the Peria Block, Block I., Maungataniwha Survey District, and running in a south-westerly direction through Sections 69A, 74, 73, 72A, 47, Maungataniwha Parish, to its junction with the old Victoria Valley Road in Section 178, Block VIII., Takahue Survey District: as the same is delineated on plan marked R. 5161D, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, coloured red and marked A.C.B.

ORURU–HIKURANGI ROAD.

Also all that road in the Auckland Land District, being part of the Oruru–Hikurangi Road, commencing at its junction with the Oruru Valley Road, and running westward through Wrathall’s old land claim, Sections 2, 38, and along the boundary of Section 48 to its southern angle, Oruru Parish, Block I., Maungataniwha Survey District: as the same is delineated on plan marked R. 5161D, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, coloured blue and marked H.J.

AHIPARA–HEREKINO ROAD.

Also all that road in the Auckland Land District, known as the Ahipara–Herekino Road, commencing at its junction with the Kaitaia–Ahipara Road, in Section 5, Ahipara Parish, Block V., Ahipara Survey District, and running in a south-easterly direction through Native and Crown lands in Blocks V. and VIII., Ahipara Survey District, to the county boundary, Section 16, Block II., Herekino Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161D, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District coloured red and and marked K.L. thereon.
