Vesting Reserves in the South Rakaia Road Board.
RANFURLY, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of April, 1904.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been permanently set aside as reserves for public cemeteries:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said lands in the South Rakaia Road Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in “The Inhabitants of the South Rakaia Road District,” in trust, for the purposes of public cemeteries.

SCHEDULE.
BARRHILL PUBLIC CEMETERY.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section No. 3662 (in red), formerly part of Rural Section No. 26852, Block V., Corwar Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by the Lauriston and Barrhill Road; towards the north-east by the northern portion of Rural Section No. 26852; towards the south-east by Rural Section No. 14808; and towards the south-west by the southern portion of said Rural Section No. 26852, the northernmost corner of the reserve being 1395 links south-westerly along the above-mentioned road from the northernmost corner of the said Rural Section No. 26852: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 51464, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.
KYLE PUBLIC CEMETERY.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres and 14 perches, more or less, being Section No. 3663 (in red), formerly part of Rural Section No. 18334, Block IX., Rakaia Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by the northern portion of Rural Section No. 18334; towards the south-east by Dobson's Ferry Road; towards the south-west by the southern portion of said Rural Section No. 18334, and by Native Reserve No. 2058, the southernmost corner of the reserve being 920 links north-easterly along the above-mentioned road from the southernmost corner of said Rural Section No. 18334: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 51464, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.
RAKAIA PUBLIC CEMETERY.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Section No. 3664 (in red), Block I., Rakaia Village Settlement. Bounded towards the north-west by Sections Nos. 20 and 22 of said Block I.; towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 22 and 23 of said Block I.; towards the south-east by Baker Road; and towards the south-west by Ulundi Road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 51464, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.

Setting apart Reserves under “The Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1898.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of April, 1904.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by “The Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1898” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor in Council is authorised under the said Act to set apart any specified area of Crown lands within a kauri-gum district to be a kauri-gum reserve under the said Act:
And whereas it is expedient to create and set apart the kauri-gum reserves hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby set apart the areas of Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto as kauri-gum reserves, with the names set over the respective descriptions of such reserves in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.
WHANGAREI COUNTY.
TAIHARURU No. 3 Kauri-gum Reserve: 120 acres. For Waikare Settlement.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 120 acres, more or less, being the western portion of Section No. 75, the northern portion of Section No. 76, and the southern portion of Section No. 81, all of the Parish of Waikare. Bounded towards the north by the Pukahakaha Block; towards the north-east generally by the eastern portion of Section No. 75 and the northern portion of Section No. 81, both of the Parish of Waikare; towards the south-east by a public road; towards the south-west generally by Section No. 80 and the middle portion of Section No. 76, both of the Parish of Waikare aforesaid; and towards the west by the Pataua Inlet.
Taiharuru No. 4 Kauri-gum Reserve: 89 acres. For Waikare Settlement.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 89 acres, more or less, being Section No. 79 of the Parish of Waikare. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 80 of the Parish of Waikare; towards the south-east by a public road; and towards the north-west by Sections Nos. 78 and 77 of the Parish of Waikare aforesaid.
Taiharuru No. 5 Kauri-gum Reserve: 17 acres. For Waikare Settlement.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 17 acres, more or less, being the north-western portion of Section No. 66 of the Parish of Waikare. Bounded towards the north by a public road; towards the east by the south-eastern portion of Section No. 66 of the Parish of Waikare; towards the south by Section No. 65 of the said parish; and towards the west by Section No. 67 of the aforesaid parish.
Waikare No. 6 Kauri-gum Reserve: 56 acres. For Waikare Settlement.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 56 acres, more or less, being the south-western portion of Section No. 36 and the south-eastern portion of Section No. 42, both of the Parish of Waikare. Bounded towards the north-east by the south-west middle portion of Section No. 36 of the Parish of Waikare; towards the south-east and south-west by a public road; again towards the south-east by the crossing of a public road and the north-west portion of Section No. 43 of the Parish of Waikare aforesaid; again towards the south-west by the south-western portion of Section No. 42 of the said parish; and towards the north-west by the middle portion of Section No. 42 aforesaid, across a public road, and by Section No. 37 of the said parish: save and except a road 100 links wide which intersects the above-described area.
Waikare No. 7 Kauri-gum Reserve: 62 acres 3 roods 24 perches. For Waikare Settlement.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 62 acres 3 roods 24 perches, more or less, being the north-western portion of Section No. 44 of the Parish of Waikare. Bounded towards the north-east by the north-west portion of Section No. 43 of the Parish of Waikare; towards the south-east by the south-eastern portion of Section No. 44 of the said parish; towards the south-west by a public road; and towards the north-west by the south-west portion of Section No. 42 of the parish aforesaid.
Waikare No. 8 Kauri-gum Reserve: 69 acres 1 rood 22 perches. For Waikare Settlement.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 69 acres 1 rood 22 perches, more or less, being the north-western portion of Section No. 45 and the eastern portion of Section No. 46, both of the Parish of Waikare. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 48 of the Parish of Waikare and by a public road; towards the south-east generally by the south-eastern portion of Section No. 45 of the Parish of Waikare aforesaid
