the Awapuni Lagoon, and the doing of all necessary sinking,
excavating, and other works in connection therewith.

A copy of the plan showing the land required to be taken
for the said public work, together with the names of the
owners and occupiers of the said land so far as they can be
ascertained, is deposited at the store of K. Bird, at Long-
burn, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and is open
for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.

And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected
by the execution of the said public work, or by the taking of
the said land, shall, if they have any well-grounded objec-
tions to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, within
forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the
Manawatu Land Drainage Board.

WELLINGTON CO-OPERATIVE FISHING COM-
PANY (IN LIQUIDATION).

AT an extraordinary meeting of shareholders of the
above-named company it was unanimously resolved
“ That the Wellington Co-operative Fishing Company (Li-
mitted) be put into liquidation ”; and the undersigned were
appointed Liquidators.

TIPAPAKUKU CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY COMPANY
(LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of the
members of the Tipapakuku Co-operative Dairy Com-
pany (Limited), (in liquidation), will be held at the Railway
Hotel, Dannevirke, on the 19th day of April, 1904, at
8 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of considering the Liquidator’s
report and accounts.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1903”; and in the
matter of the Pomeroy Hat-fastener Syndicate (Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named
company, duly convened, and held at Dunedin on the
4th day of March, 1904, the following special resolutions
were duly passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general
meeting of the above-named company, duly convened, and
held at Dunedin on the 21st day of March, the following
special resolutions were duly confirmed: “(1.) That the
company be wound up under the provisions of ‘The Com-
panies Act, 1903.’ (2.) That David Larnach be appointed
Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

I am the Attorney in New Zealand for the Gordon
and Gotch Proprietary (Limited); that the Gordon and
Gotch Proprietary (Limited) intend to commence and carry
on business in Auckland; that the situation and locality of
the place of business of the Gordon and Gotch Proprietary

PATENT OFFICE SUPPLEMENT.

A SPECIAL Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette is
now published fortnightly, containing all notices con-
cerning patents and trade-marks required by law to be
gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for patents,
expired letters patent, and other information useful to in-
ventors, manufacturers, and others. The Supplement will
be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and to others on
payment of a subscription of ten shillings per annum, pay-
able in advance to the Government Printer.

1903.

Containing latest information, Historical, Political, Official,
Statistical, Industrial, Commercial, &c.: Digest of Land-
laws and Description of Land Districts.

DIAGRAMS AND ILLUSTRATIONS.

Prices: Paper cover, 1s.; cloth boards, 2s. Copies will
be sent post-free to England or any British possession on
receipt of order, with remittance, addressed to the Govern-
ment Printer, Wellington.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of
30s. per annum, payable in advance. A less period
than three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for
the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any
subsequent insertion.

Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged
23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening
in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by
the Government Printer before three o’clock of the day
preceding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders
should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed
“Public a/c,” and exchange added.

Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment
from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders
are issued.

Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to
prevent delay in publication a sufficient remittance should
accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be re-
turned with receipted account.
