NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership between the undersigned, GEORGE SMITH, WALTER STEWART BLACK, and ALLAN BLACK, all of Gisborne, and all Carpenters, trading as Builders and Contractors in Gisborne aforesaid under the firm-name of “Smith and Black,” was, on the 3rd day of December, 1903, dissolved by mutual consent; and that since that date the business has been carried on, and will in future be carried on, by the said George Smith and Allan Black alone, under the same firm-name, on their own account, and who will pay and receive all debts owing from and to the said dissolved partnership in the regular course of trade. As witness our hands, at Gisborne, this 21st day of March, 1904.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Rangitikei County Council to execute a certain public work, to wit, the alteration of the course of a drain in the said county known as the Kahaurauponga Stream, through the Te Puru No. 2 Block of the Turakina Native Reserve, Block XV., Ikitara Survey District; and for the purpose of such public work to take, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and its amendments, the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

And notice is hereby further given that a copy of the plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited at Mr. Franklin’s store, Turakina, and is there open for public inspection. And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by and who have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work, or the taking of the said lands, shall set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice (being the 31st day of March, 1904) to the Rangitikei County Council, at its office in High Street, Marton.

In the matter of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” “The Land Drainage Act, 1893,” and the amendments thereof respectively.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Manawatu Land Drainage Board require to take, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” for the public work hereinafter mentioned, all that parcel of land, containing 29·6 perches, being part of Rural Section No. 361 on the plan of the Township of Palmerston North: bounded towards the north-east by other part of said Rural Section No. 361, 749·2 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 31·5 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 730 links; and towards the north-west by a public road (the Foxton Line), 25 links: as the same is delineated and coloured pink in the plan hereinafter mentioned.

The public work which the said Manawatu Land Drainage Board propose to execute is the widening, deepening, and reconstructing of the existing drain along the public road through said Rural Section No. 361, from the Foxton Line to
