of that borough shall, as from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and four, be those described in the Second Schedule hereto; and, further, that the areas described in the First Schedule, and so excluded as aforesaid from the Borough of Masterton, shall, as from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and four, be included in the County of Masterton.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF AREAS TO BE EXCLUDED FROM THE BOROUGH OF MASTERTON AND INCLUDED IN THE COUNTY OF MASTERTON.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded towards the north-east by the right bank of the Waipoua River from the north-western boundary-line of the Borough of Masterton, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 60, 12th July, 1877, to a point on the said bank of the Waipoua River in line with the north-western boundary-line of Section No. 31, Masterton Small-farm Block; thence towards the south-east by a right line to the point of intersection of a line along the middle of Ngaumutawa Road by a line along the middle of Railway Road; and thence by a line along the middle of Railway Road to its intersection with a line along the middle of a road forming the south-western boundary-line of Sections Nos. 34 to 41, Masterton Small-farm Block; thence again towards the north-east by a right line across Section No. 43 (Manaiā Block) to the point of intersection of a line along the middle of High Street by a line along the middle of Solway Street; thence again towards the south-east by a line along the middle of High Street to the south-western boundary of the said Borough of Masterton; thence towards the south-west, west, and north-west by the south-western, western, and north-western boundaries of the Borough of Masterton, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 60, 12th July, 1877, to the place of commencement.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District bounded towards the south-east generally from the northernmost corner of the Pokohiwi Block by the south-eastern boundary-line of the Borough of Masterton, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 60, 12th July, 1877, to the northern side of Gladstone Road; thence towards the south-west by the northern side of the said Gladstone Road and the last-mentioned boundary-line produced to a point in line with a line along the middle of South Road; thence towards the north-west by a line along the middle of the said South Road to a point in line with the south-western boundary-line of Section No. 2, Manaiā Block; thence towards the north-east by a right line to and by the south-western boundary-line of the said Section No. 2 to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence again towards the north-west by the south-eastern boundary-line of the said Section No. 2 to the easternmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence again towards the north-east by the south-western boundary-line of Section No. 1, Manaiā Block, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence again towards the north-west by the south-eastern boundary-line of the said Section No. 1 and that boundary-line produced to the middle of Kuripuni Creek; thence again towards the north-east by a line along the middle of the said Kuripuni Creek to a point in line with a line along the middle of Nursery Road; thence again towards the north-west by a right line to and thence by a line along the middle of the said Nursery Road to the left bank of the Ruamahanga River; thence again towards the south-east by the left bank of the Ruamahanga River to the northernmost corner of the Pokohiwi Block, the place of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF AMENDED BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF MASTERTON.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in the Borough of Masterton, bounded towards the north-east generally by the right banks of the Waipoua and Ruamahanga Rivers from a point on the said bank of the Waipoua River in line with the north-western boundary-line of Section No. 31, Masterton Small-farm Block, to the middle of the Nursery Road; thence towards the south-east by a line along the middle of the said Nursery Road and its production to the middle of Kuripuni Creek; thence towards the south-west generally by a line along the middle of the said Kuripuni Creek to a point in line with the north-western boundary-line of Section No. 30, Manaiā Block; thence again towards the south-east by a right line to the northernmost corner of the said Section No. 30, and by the said Section No. 30 to the north-east corner of Section No. 29; thence again towards the south-west by the last-mentioned section to its northernmost corner; thence again towards the south-east by said Section No. 29 to the easternmost corner of Section No. 3 of the said Manaiā Block; thence again towards the south-west by the north-eastern boundary-line of the said Section No. 3 and that boundary-line produced to the middle of the South Road; thence again towards the south-east by a line along the middle of the said South Road to a point in line with the northern side of Junction Road; thence towards the south by a right line to and thence by the northern side of Junction Road, and by the last-mentioned line produced to its intersection by a line along the middle of High Street (Borough of Masterton); thence towards the north-west by a line along the middle of the said High Street to its intersection by a line along the middle of Solway Street; thence again towards the south-west by a right line across Section No. 43, Manaiā Block, to the intersection of a line along the middle of the Railway Road with a line along the middle of a road forming the south-western boundary-line of Sections Nos. 34 to 41, Masterton Small-farm Block; thence again towards the north-west by a line along the middle of the said Railway Road to the intersection of the last-mentioned line by a line along the middle of Ngaumutawa Road; thence by a right line to a point on the right bank of the Waipoua River in line with the north-western boundary-line of Section No. 31, Masterton Small-farm Block, the place of commencement.

Additional Regulations under “The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” and Amendments.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirty-first day of March, 1904.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred by “The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” and its amendments, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby make the following regulations for the purposes of the said Acts, and doth hereby declare that such regulations shall have force in all streams in the colony in which trout or salmon exist or have been liberated; and, further, that these regulations shall take effect on and after the date of the publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
REGULATIONS.

No person shall cast or throw into any stream in which trout or salmon exist or have been liberated, or shall allow to flow into or place near the bank or margin of any such stream, any sawdust or sawmill refuse, lime, sheep-dip, flax-mill refuse, or any other matter or liquid that is noxious, poisonous, or injurious to fish: Provided that nothing herein contained shall extend to prohibit the depositing in such stream of débris from any mining claim.

If any person shall commit a breach of any of these regulations he shall be liable, on conviction, to a penalty of not less than forty shillings or more than fifty pounds.

Extending Time for Preparation of Valuation List of Borough of New Brighton.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirty-first day of March, 1904.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS it has been made to appear that the valuation list of the Borough of New Brighton cannot be completed by or within the time mentioned in “The Rating Act, 1894”:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers vested in him by the said “Rating Act, 1894,” and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby extend the time for completing the preparation of such valuation list until the fifteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and four; and doth also extend the time during which such valuation list shall be open for inspection, and during which objections thereto may be made, until the sixteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and four.
