IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be county roads.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, situated in the County of Cook, and known as Waiapu Inland Road, commencing at its junction with Tologa-Arakihi Road, and running in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of Lots 2 and 3 of Waingaromia No. 2, and ending at a point where it junctions with Huanui Station Road, a distance of two miles or thereabouts; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 5161b, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, coloured pink and marked A.B. thereon.
GISBORNE-OPOTIKI ROAD.
Also all that road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, situated in the County of Cook, commencing midway on the frontage of Section 16, Motutu No. 3, and running in a northerly direction along the western boundaries of Sections Nos. 14, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, for a distance of three and a half miles or thereabouts, and ending at the eastern boundary of Motu Village; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 5161b¹, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, coloured pink and marked B.B. thereon.

Declaring Part of the Eltham-Waitotara Road, Hawera County, to be a County Road.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of the Eltham-Waitotara Road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road in Taranaki Land District, County of Hawera, and known as the Rawhitiroa Road, commencing from the bridge at the topmost crossing, Mangatoromiro Creek, in Subdivision 2, Matemateonga Block, Block X., Omona Survey District, and extending in an easterly direction to the junction of the Rawhitiroa and Matiwhetu Roads on the southern boundary of Section 2, Block VII., Omona Survey District, a length of four miles or thereabouts; as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 779a, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Revoking Order in Council licensing Abel Dickenson to occupy a Part of Foreshore in Whangaroa Harbour.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of February, 1904.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 92, of the tenth day of November of the same year, His Excellency the Governor in Council did, in pursuance of the provisions of “The Harbours Act Amendment Act, 1883,” amongst other things, license Abel Dickenson, of Whangaroa, to use and occupy parts of the foreshore of Whangaroa Harbour, in the Provincial District of Auckland, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon two boatsheds and one platform, in the position shown on and in accordance with plan marked M.D. 2294, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington:
And whereas the said Abel Dickenson has ceased to occupy the portion of the foreshore to which the said license to him applies, and desires that the said license to him should be revoked:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of all the powers enabling him in that behalf, doth hereby revoke and determine the said recited Order in Council, and every right, power, and privilege conferred thereby or intended so to be, in so far as relates to the said Abel Dickenson.

Fixing Dues for Wharves, Waipu River.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of February, 1904.

WHEREAS it is provided by the fourth section of “The Harbours Act Amendment Act, 1879,” that the power granted to the Governor in Council by the seventeenth section of “The Harbours Act, 1878,” in respect of prescribing what dues and rates may be charged on wharves vested in local bodies may be exercised from time to time as occasion may require, and shall not be limited as in the said section is provided:
And whereas the management of two wharves on the Waipu River, Whangarei District, was, by Order in Council dated the twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and three, vested in the Waipu River Board:
And whereas it is desirable that dues and rates should be prescribed for the use of the said wharves:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by “The Harbours Act, 1878,” “The Harbours Act Amendment Act, 1879,” and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, doth hereby prescribe that the dues and rates set forth in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be charged and taken by the Waipu River Board for the use of the said wharves.
