Declaring Roads in the Buller County to be County Roads.

RANFURLY, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of February, 1904.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that those roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be county roads.

SCHEDULE.

All that road in the Nelson Land District, Buller County, known as the Waimangaroa to Denniston Road, commencing at Waimangaroa and proceeding in a south-easterly direction to Denniston, a distance of five miles and a half, or thereabouts; as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161A¹, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured yellow and marked K.L.

Also all that road in the Nelson Land District, Buller County, known as the Waimangaroa to Wareatea Creek, commencing at Waimangaroa and proceeding in a south-westerly direction to Wareatea Creek, a distance of one mile and three-quarters, or thereabouts; as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161A¹, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured red and marked N.M.

Declaring Roads in Southland County to be County Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of February, 1904.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be county roads.

SCHEDULE.

All that road in the Southland Land District, being a road running parallel with Seaward Bush Railway on the south side from the eastern boundary of South Invercargill Borough, and proceeding in an easterly direction to Waimatua, a distance of 2 miles 60 chains, or thereabouts.

Also that road running north and south on the western boundary of Sections 37 and 38, Block XXII., Invercargill Hundred, and known as Murphy’s and Wright’s Roads, a distance of three miles, or thereabouts.

As the aforesaid roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 5161EF, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured red and marked A.A. B.B.

Also all that road in the Southland Land District running north from Section 26 to Section 11, Block XX., Invercargill Hundred, together with the branch roads from the south of Section 61 running east to Section 43, and from the south of Section 67 running west to Section 74, all of Block XX., Invercargill Hundred, a distance of 2 miles 70 chains, or thereabouts; as the said roads are delineated on the plan marked R. 5161EF, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured red and marked D.D., E.E., F.F. respectively.

Also all that road in the Southland Land District, on the south side of Sections 10, 21, 11, and 20, Block II., Campbelltown Hundred, a distance of one mile and a half, or thereabouts; as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161GH, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured red and marked A.B.

Also all that road in the Southland Land District, commencing from the main road to Niagara and proceeding easterly and south-easterly through Sections 9, 11, and 12, Block VII., and adjoining Sections 10, 11, 12, and 13, to junction of road at school reserve, Section 11, Block XVII., Waikawa District, a distance of 2 miles 20 chains, or thereabouts, and known as Progress Valley Road; as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161IJ, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured red and marked A.A.

Also all that road from the main road near Niagara Bridge and adjoining Sections 24, 36, 37 to 41, Block II., Waikawa District, a distance of 70 chains, or thereabouts; as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161IJ, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and coloured red thereon and marked B.B.

Also a branch road from the main road at Section 3, Block IX., Waikawa District, near Haldane Post-office, running south and west to Section 23 of same block, a distance of 3 miles 30 chains, or thereabouts.

Also that road from its junction near Section 17A, school reserve, and proceeding in an easterly direction to Section 19, at Six-mile Beach.

As the same are delineated on the plan marked R. 5161IJ, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured red and marked C.D. E.F.

Declaring Wharekopae–Tahora No. 2 Block Road, in the Cook County, to be a District Road.

RANFURLY, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of February, 1904.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a district road.

SCHEDULE.

Wharekopae–Tahora No. 2 Block Road.

All that road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, and situated in the County of Cook, commencing at the point where it crosses the Wharekopae River at its confluence with Makaretu Stream, Wharekopae No. 1 Block, and running in a westerly direction to a point where it crosses Wharekopae River, and thence in a north-westerly direction to the western boundary of Wharekopae No. 1B², and thence in a south-westerly direction to its junction with Mutueara Road, at the north-west corner of Section 1, Block X., Ngatapa Survey District, the whole of the said road for a distance of eight miles and a quarter, or thereabouts, being within the Ngatapa Road District; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 5161Z, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured sienna and marked A.B.
