Consenting to closing Roads through Blocks VII., XI., and XV., Hinds Survey District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twelfth day of December, 1904.

Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section twelve, subsection one, of “The Public Works Acts Amendment Act, 1900,” it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county or district road to be stopped, and such road shall not be deemed to be stopped, until the consent thereto of the Governor by Order in Council gazetted is obtained:

And whereas the Longbeach Road Board has applied for such consent in respect to the roads described in the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby consent to the Longbeach Road Board closing the roads mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

Consenting to closing Part of Allenhead Street, in the Township of Dunkeld, Tuapeka County.

THE HONOURABLE J. McGOWAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section twelve, subsection one, of “The Public Works Acts Amendment Act, 1900,” it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county or district road to be stopped, and such road shall not be deemed to be stopped, until the consent thereto of the Governor by Order in Council gazetted is obtained:

And whereas the Levels County Council has applied for such consent in respect to the roads described in the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby consent to the Levels County Council closing the roads mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

Native Lands proposed to be taken for a Road through Blocks VII. and XI., Linkwater Survey District, Picton Road District.

PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twelfth day of December, 1904.

Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for a public work, to wit, for the purpose of a road in Blocks VII. and XI., Linkwater Survey District:

And whereas the said lands are held or occupied by Native owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:

And whereas a map in duplicate has been prepared of the said lands, as required by the eighty-eighth section of “The Public Works Act, 1894”:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the eighty-eighth section of the said Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the lands shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be taken for the purposes of the said road, and the said lands vest in His Majesty the King, as from the first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and five.
