33 perches, more or less, being the land known as Ngawaka-
a-kupe No. 2c, in the Survey District of Huangarua.
Bounded towards the north-east by Tahuroa 1a and A;
towards the south-east by the Pahaoa Block, Divisions 2c,
3B, 3A, 4B, and 5; towards the south-west by Ngawaka-
a-kupe No. 2E Block; and towards the west by the Nga-
waka-a-kupe No. 2D Block: as the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked S.G. 19264B, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
edged with red.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
ninth day of November, 1904.

THE HONOURABLE W. HALL-JONES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken for a public work, to wit, for
the purpose of a road in Rangiuru 2D Block No. 872D,
Block X., Maketu Survey District:
And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native
owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:
And whereas a map in duplicate has been prepared of the
said land, as required by the eighty-eighth section of “The
Public Works Act, 1894”:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
vested in him by the eighty-eighth section of the said Act,
and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this
behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare
that the land shown upon such map, and described in the
Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be taken for the pur-
poses of the said road, and the said land vest in His
Majesty the King, as from the twenty-third day of January,
one thousand nine hundred and five.

Declaring Road in Rangitikei County to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twelfth
day of December, 1904.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare
that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and
after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.
SCHEDULE.
All that road known as the Mangarere Road, in the Wel-
ington Land District, commencing at its junction with the
Hunterville-Tokaanu Main Road, at the northern corner of
Section No. 52 and the southern corner of Section No. 51,
both sections being suburban sections of the Township of
Mangaweka, in Block X., Hautapu Survey District, and pro-
ceeding thence in a south-easterly direction to its junction
with Section 50, the Government recreation reserve; thence
through the said Government reserve southerly and south-
easterly to its junction with the suspension-bridge site over
the Rangitikei River, in Block X., Hautapu Survey District:
all in the County of Rangitikei: as the same is delineated
on the plan marked R. 3002, and deposited in the office of
the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Land
District of Wellington, and is coloured blue and marked
A.B. thereon.

Declaring Road in Block XV., Makuri Survey District, to be
a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twelfth
day of December, 1904.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-

by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Coun-
cil of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of the road described in the Schedule hereto
shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a
Government road.
