I, Robert Erskine, the Manager of the Ourawera Gold-mining Company (Limited), do solemnly and sincerely declare that this is a true and complete statement of the affairs of the said company on 31st December, 1903; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882”; and in the matter of the Maori King Gold-dredging Company (Limited).

At an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at Dunedin on the 20th day of November, 1903, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

And at the same meeting William H. Middleton, of Castle Street, Dunedin, Agent, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.

LAFRANCHI’S FREEHOLD GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

Notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of Lafranchi’s Freehold Gold-dredging Company (Limited), held at the hall of the Dunedin Stock Exchange, on Thursday, the 5th day of November, 1903, at 8 o’clock p.m., the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

At the same meeting Mr. S. N. Brown, of 18, Rattray Street, Dunedin, was appointed Liquidator of the said company.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and “The Companies Act, 1903”; and in the matter of Bignell’s No Town Gold-dredging Company (Limited).

Notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, made on the 22nd day of December, 1903, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £11,000 to £9,000, and the minute (approved by the said Court) showing with respect to the capital of the said company as altered the several particulars required by law, were registered by the Registrar of Joint-stock Companies on the 23rd day of December, 1903. And further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following, that is to say:—

“The capital of Bignell’s No Town Gold-dredging Company (Limited) is nine thousand pounds, divided into nine thousand shares of one pound each, instead of the original capital of eleven thousand pounds divided into eleven thousand shares of one pound each. At the time of the registration of this minute the full sum of one pound per share has been and is to be deemed paid up on each of the said nine thousand shares of one pound each.”
