SCHEDULE.
ALL that road in the Marlborough Land District, commencing at its junction with the Main Road, Wairau Valley to Blenheim, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction across the Wairau River, and following generally the course of the Top Valley Stream through Block 2 and Block 16, Mount Olympus Survey District, to the Kimberley Creek; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plans marked R. 5161¹ and R. 5161², deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured red and marked A.A. and B.B.

Declaring Ohingaiti to Mangaweka Road to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of December, 1903.

THE HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
I N pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of the Ohingaiti to Mangaweka Road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road in the Wellington Land District, in the County of Rangitikei, commencing at the railway-crossing, Mangaonoho, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 10 miles 68 chains, or thereabouts, to the commencement of the county road at the southern boundary of the Mangaweka Township; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 831x, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, marked A.B., and coloured red thereon.

Fixing Season for Godwits (Curlew).

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of December, 1903.

THE HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
I N pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by section seven of “The Animals Protection Amendment Act, 1903,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the season during which godwits (Limosa baueri; Native name, kuaka or hakakao) may be killed shall be the first day of January to the thirty-first day of March, both days inclusive, in each year:
Provided, however, that no such birds shall be trapped, netted, snared, or taken by any other means prohibited by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” or its amendments.

Declaring Part of Potaka Road, in the Kiwitea County, to be a County Road.

ALL that road in the Wellington Land District, commencing at its junction with the Kawatau Valley Road at the western corner of Section 17, Block XI., Hautapu Survey District, and proceeding thence generally north-easterly until it junctions with the Kawatau River, in the same section and block aforesaid, this portion of the said road being situated in the Kiwitea County; as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161E, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, coloured blue and marked A.B. thereon.

SCHEDULE.
KAWHATAU VALLEY ROAD.
ALL that road in the Wellington Land District, commencing at its junction with the Pourangaki Road and the Auputa Road, at the southern corner of Section 6, a school reserve in Block IX., Ruahine Survey District, and proceeding thence generally north-westerly to the most westerly point in Section 18, a gravel reserve, about 10 chains from its junction with the Titirangi Road, in Block X., Hautapu Survey District; thence generally southerly to its junction with the Mangawharariki Road at the south-west corner of Section 11, Block X., Hautapu Survey District, in the Kiwitea County: as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161B, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, coloured scarlet and marked A.B. thereon.
LAGOON ROAD.
Also, all that road in the Wellington Land District, commencing at its junction with the Auputa Road in the most southern corner of Section 8, Block XVI., Hautapu Survey District, and proceeding thence generally north-westerly to the northern corner of Section 13, a metal reserve in Block XV., Hautapu Survey District, and from thence proceeding generally easterly and northerly until it junctions with the Titirangi Road at the southern boundary of Section 9, Block XII., Hautapu Survey District, in the Kiwitea County; as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161B, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, coloured blue and marked C.D. thereon.
KELPIE ROAD.
Also, all that road in the Wellington Land District, commencing at its junction with the Mangawharariki Road at the south-western corner of Section 22, Block XV., Hautapu Survey District, and proceeding thence generally north-westerly until it crosses the Mangawharariki River, thence northerly and easterly to its junction with the Lagoon Road at peg XIII., at the southern boundary of Section 12, Block XV., Hautapu Survey District, in the Kiwitea County; as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161B, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, coloured green and marked G.H. thereon.
MANGAWHARARIKI ROAD.
Also, all that road in the Wellington Land District, commencing at its junction with the northern portion of the Township of Rangiwahia, in Block IV., Apiti Survey District, and proceeding thence generally northerly and westerly until it junctions with the Kawhatau Valley Road at the
