At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of December, 1903.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be county roads.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road in the Canterbury Land District, County of Waimate, starting from the Pareora Main Road at the south-east corner of Section 4, Block XII., Otaio Survey District, and extending in a south-westerly direction between Sections 4, 3, 2, and 1, Block XII., Otaio Survey District, on the one side, and Sections Nos. 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10, Block XII., Otaio Survey District, and Sections 11, 12, and 13, Block IV., Patiti Survey District, to its junction with the road to St. Andrew’s Railway-station, at the west corner of Section 5, Block XII., Otaio Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 5161r, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured blue and marked B.A. (7).
Also, all that road in the Canterbury Land District, County of Waimate, starting from the south-east corner of Section 23, Block IV., Patiti Survey District, and extending in a north-westerly direction between Section 23 on the one side and Sections 25 and 24 on the other side, and terminating at Sections 17 and 18, all in Block IV., Patiti Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 5161r, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured blue and marked C.D. (1).
Also, all that road in the Canterbury Land District, County of Amuri, starting from the north-east corner of School Reserve No. 6A, Block IX., Waiau, and extending generally in a south-west direction between Sections Nos. 6 and 2, 5, 4, and 3, Block IX., Waiau Survey District, a distance of 170 chains, more or less, and terminating at the north-west corner of Section 4, Block IX., Waiau Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 5161R, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured blue and marked C.D. (2).
Also, all that road in the Canterbury Land District, County of Amuri, starting from the south-east corner of Section 2, Block IX., Waiau Survey District, and extending in a north-west direction between Sections Nos. 2 and 1, Block IX., Waiau, a distance of 58 chains, more or less, and terminating at the northern corner of Section 2, Block IX., Waiau Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 5161R, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured green and marked E.F. (3).
Also, all that road in the Canterbury Land District, County of Amuri, starting from the Lyndon Flat Road, about three miles and a half from the Waiau Township, and extending generally in a north-westerly direction a distance of about one mile and a half, more or less, to the eastern boundary of Lyndon No. 2 Settlement; thence in a westerly direction between Sections No. 4, Block XII., and 5 and 6, Block XI., on the one side, and Sections No. 7, Block XII., 8 and 9, Block XV., on the other side, all in the Lyndon Survey District, to the western boundary of Lyndon No. 2 Settlement: as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161s, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured green and marked A.B. (4).
Also, all that road in the Canterbury Land District, County of Amuri, starting from the south-west corner of School Reserve No. 5A, Block XI., Lyndon Survey District, and extending in a north-westerly direction to the southernmost corner of Small Grazing-run No. 1, Block XI., Lyndon Survey District; as the same is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161s, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured blue and marked C.D. (5).
Also, all that road in the Canterbury Land District, County of Amuri, starting from Lyndon Flat Road and extending in a north-westerly direction between Sections No. 9, Block XV., and 6, Block XI., on the one side, and Sections 8, Block XV., and 5, Block XI., on the other side, all in the Lyndon Survey District, to the northern corner of Section 6, Block XI., Lyndon Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 5161s, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked E.F. (6).
