IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
WILLIAM SWADLING
to be a Trustee, in the place of Frederick John Ernest Gapper, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Kaponga Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and three.

Notifying Lands in Otago for Sale by Public Auction.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Monday, the eleventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and four, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Good level agricultural land, originally bush, but now covered almost entirely by second growth. There is no water on these sections, but the Tapanui Borough water-mains are only 5 chains distant. Each section is weighted with £1 2s. 6d., valuation for fencing.

Land temporarily reserved in the Otago Land District.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 96 acres 3 roods 5 perches, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block XXXVII., Town of Alexandra. Bounded towards the north-west by Town Belt; towards the north-east by railway reserve; towards the south-east by a road-line; towards the south by water reserve; and towards the south-west by Crookhaven Street: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 44881A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red. For a recreation reserve.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and three.

Bounded towards the north-east by Boyd Street; towards the south-east generally by the Waikaramarama Stream; and towards the north-west by Section No. 6 (Town Belt), Stirling Street, by Sections Nos. 117 to 106 inclusive, Pukearuhe Township, and Gregory Street. For the preservation of scenery.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 23 perches, more or less, being Section No. 3, Town Belt, Pukearuhe Township. Bounded towards the north-east by Page Street; towards the south-east by a public road; towards the south-west by Boyd Street; and towards the north-west by Clifton Street. For primary education.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section No. 104, Pukearuhe Township. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 105; towards the south-east by Fookes Street; towards the south-west by Section No. 103; and towards the north-west by Clifton Street. For public buildings of General Government.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section No. 81, Pukearuhe Township. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 80; towards the south-east by Clifton Street; towards the south-west by Boyd Street; and towards the north-west by Section No. 73. For primary education.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section No. 62, Pukearuhe Township. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 63; towards the south-east by Section No. 92; towards the south-west by Section No. 61; and towards the north-west by Baddeley Street.
