NOTICE.—FELIX CECIL COWLE, Esq., of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia, has this day been appointed by His Honour the Chief Justice a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in Western Australia, under the 2nd section of “The Commissioners of the Supreme Court Act, 1875,” for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.

NOTICE is hereby given that the adoption particulars of which are set out hereunder has been duly registered by me under the provisions of section 50 of “The Native Land Claims Adjustment and Laws Amendment Act, 1901.”

I, EMA TE PUNI, of Pitoone, Wellington, hereby give notice that I have taken Mona Marion Herdman, a child of Nellie Herdman, to be my adopted child according to Maori custom; and I request that such adoption be registered under the provisions of section 50 of “The Native Land Claims Adjustment and Laws Amendment Act, 1901.”

Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee under “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894.”
WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee, have for the purposes of “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894,” made due inquiries with respect to the land described in the Schedule hereunder written, and the owner thereof, and have, in respect of the said land, given the notices prescribed by section 4 of the said Act, and have in all respects complied with the provisions of the said section: And whereas I have not thereby ascertained who the owner is, and believe that such owner is not in the colony, nor has such owner established his title to the said land, as required by the said Act: I hereby give notice that the said land is, under and by virtue of the said Act, vested in me, as the Public Trustee as aforesaid, as from the date of the publication hereof, and will be administered under the said Act; the value of the land for the purposes of section 5 of the said Act being less than £100.

Notice of Order of a Judge vesting Land in the Public Trustee under “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894.”
I HEREBY give notice that, by an order of His Honour WORLEY BASSETT EDWARDS, Esquire, a Judge of the Supreme Court, made at New Plymouth on the 6th day of October, 1903, all that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Taranaki, containing 1 rood, more or less, being Section 1319 in the Town of New Plymouth, and having a frontage to the south side of Buller Street, was and is vested in the Public Trustee under and subject to the provisions of “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894.”

Notice by the Public Trustee under “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894.”
To the owner or owners of a parcel of land containing 5 acres, more or less, and being Allotment 52, Settlement of Whiriwhiri, Suburban Section 1, Parish of Waiuku. The grantee is George Palmer, described as of Grahams-town, Miner, and who cannot now be traced. It is unoccupied.
WHEREAS the Public Trustee has instituted inquiries, and has not thereby ascertained who the owner or owners of the above-described land is or are, and believes that such owner is, or owners are, not in the colony :
Now, this notice calls upon such owner or owners, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his or their title to the land specified in this notice; and, if such owner does or owners do not, within the time limited, so establish his or their title, the Public Trustee will exercise the powers and authorities granted to him in and by “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894.”

To the owner or owners of a parcel of land containing 9 acres 2 roods 4 perches, more or less, described in the grant thereof as Section numbered 16 in the District of Havelock Suburban, but now apparently it is known as Section 16, Block 12, Wakamarina District, both in the Pelorus Road District, in the Provincial District of Marlborough. The grantee was William Stevens, of Bank’s Town, near Sydney, in New South Wales, Labourer, and the land adjoins other land occupied by Mr. J. H. Smith, of Havelock.
WHEREAS the Public Trustee has instituted inquiries, and has not thereby ascertained who the owner or owners of the above-described land is or are, and believes that such owner is, or owners are, not in the colony :
