THE following special order, made by the Katikati Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

KATIKATI ROAD BOARD.
Special Order.
THAT, pursuant to the provisions of “The Noxious Weeds Act, 1900,” section 4 and subsection (3) of section 5, the Katikati Road Board doth hereby, by special resolution intended to act as a special order, resolve that Bathurst burr, broom, giant burdock, gorse, and ragweed, mentioned in Schedule II. of “The Noxious Weeds Act, 1900,” are noxious weeds within its jurisdiction as from 10th October prox., 1903.
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly passed at a meeting of the Katikati Road Board on the 5th September, 1903, and confirmed at a meeting of the same on 3rd October, 1903.

THE following special order, made by the Cook County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.
SPECIAL ORDER made by the Cook County Council on the 28th August, 1903, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on 2nd October, 1903:—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them in that behalf by “The Counties Act, 1886,” the Cook County Council do hereby resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,300, authorised to be raised by the Cook County Council under the provisions of “The Local Bodies Act, 1901,” for surveying and constructing a dray-road on the Mangatu River, at Whatatutu, to Barron’s Section No. 8, Mangatu I., the said Cook County Council do hereby make and levy a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Mangamaia Special District, comprising Lot 1 of 1, Subdivision 8, Subdivision 6, Subdivision 5, and 4, Lot 3 of Subdivision 1, Lot 2 of Subdivision 1, and all of Mangatu I. Block; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during a period of forty-one years, equal to the currency of such loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Cook was hereto affixed in the presence of—

SPECIAL ORDER made by the Cook County Council on the 28th August, 1903, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on 2nd October, 1903:—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in that behalf by “The Counties Act, 1886,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Cook County Council do hereby resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £100, authorised to be raised by the Cook County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for completing the bridge across the Waiomoko River, the said Cook County Council do hereby make and levy a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Waiomoko Loan District No. 2, comprising Sections 2 and 3, Block X., Whangara Survey District; and such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of January in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off: the rate of interest to be 4½ per cent.

THE following special order, made by the Waipawa County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

WAIPAWA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Counties Act, 1886,” the Waipawa County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and sinking fund on a loan of £2,150, authorised to be raised by the Waipawa County Council under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and its amendments, for forming and metalling 445 chains of the Pukokomuka Road, commencing at the junction of the Tuturewa Road and Pukokomuka Road, and running in a north-easterly direction along the Pukokomuka Road for the above distance, the said Waipawa County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2¾d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Pukokomuka Road Special-rating District, comprising Sections 11, 12, 13, and 14, Block V., Sections 3, 5, 9, 10, half of Section 7, and half of Section 8, Block VI., and 1,000 acres of the Mangatoro No. 1a Block, all of the Mangatoro Survey District: the aforesaid 1,000 acres of the Mangatoro No. 1a Block is bounded on the east by the western boundary-lines of Sections 11 and 14, Block V., Mangatoro Survey District, on the south by the Mangamai re Stream, and on the west by the Tuturewa Road, and on the north by the boundary-line of the Mangatoro No. 1a Block, Mangatoro Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. That the cost of raising such loan and the interest for one year during the construction of the road shall be paid out of the loan. That this special order shall take effect on and from the 1st day of November, 1903.
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a special order made by the Waipawa County Council on the 5th day of August, 1903, and confirmed on the 7th day of October, 1903.
