THE following special order, made by the Wanganui
County Council, is published in accordance with the
provisions of “ The Counties Act, 1886.”

WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL.
THAT a special order be now made altering the bound-
aries of the Purua and Mataongaonga Ridings to bring
them into conformity with the alteration in the boundaries
of the road districts already made, and which are as
under:—
Purua Riding.
The south-western boundary commences at a point where
the production of the southern boundary of the No. 2 Line
of road strikes the Wanganui River, in Block V., Ikitara
Survey District, and proceeds thence along the said line to
the north-eastern corner of Manawakowara No. 3 Block,
Putiki Native Reserve ; thence along its eastern boundary-
line to its intersection with Te Iwirow Block ; thence along
part of the northern and along the western boundary-lines
to the south-east corner of said Te Iwirow Block ; thence
along the northern and eastern boundary-lines of the Kohipo
Block to the south-west corner of Manawakawara No. 1
Block ; thence along the south-western boundary-lines of
the said block to Pariatumunga No. 1 Block ; thence along
the south-western and south-eastern boundary-lines of last-
named block and the eastern boundary of the Putiki Native
Reserve to the south-west corner of Section 33, Block VI.,
Ikitara Survey District ; thence along the southern and
part of the eastern boundary-lines of the said section to the

of Section 195 ; thence along the northern boundary-lines

north-western corner of Section No. 45 ; thence along the

Mataongaonga Riding.
Bounded on the north by the Mangawhero Riding, on the
east and south-east by the Kaukatea Riding, on the south
by the Kaukatea Riding and by the Purua Riding herein-
before described, and on the west by the Wanganui River.

THE following special order, made by the Porangahau
Road Board, is published in accordance with the pro-
visions of “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

PORANGAHAU ROAD BOARD.
Special Order.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and “ The
Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1902,” the Poranga-
hau Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the
purpose of providing the interest and other charges on
a loan of £2,500 (authorised to be raised by the Porangahau
Road Board under the provisions of “ The Local Bodies’
Loans Act, 1901,” and “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Amend-
ment Act, 1902”), for the purpose of constructing a bridge
over the Porangahau River at Makaramu, and acquiring
land for forming and metalling a road giving access to the
proposed landing-place in the sea-beach at Makaramu, near
Porangahau, the said Porangahau Road Board hereby makes
and levies a special rate of 1/6d. in the pound upon the rate-
able valuation of all rateable property of the Porangahau
Road District ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be
payable in one sum on the 1st day of December in each
