NEW ZEALAND.—“FRIENDLY SOCIETIES ACT, 1882.”

ADVERTISEMENT OF DISSOLUTION BY INSTRUMENT.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Invercargill City Band Society, register No. 269, held at Invercargill, is dissolved by instrument, registered at this office the 2nd day of October, 1903, unless within three months from the date of the Gazette in which this advertisement appears proceedings be commenced, by a member or other person interested in or having any claim on the funds of the society, to set aside such dissolution, and the same is set aside accordingly.

ELECTION OF TWO MEMBERS OF THE PHARMACY BOARD OF NEW ZEALAND FOR THE CENTRAL DISTRICT.

To be elected by the Registered Pharmaceutical Chemists residing within the District of Wellington, the boundaries of which are the same as those of the Provincial Districts of Wellington, Hawke’s Bay, Nelson, and Marlborough.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is my intention to proceed, on Friday, the 13th day of November, 1903, to the election of two duly registered pharmaceutical chemists of New Zealand to serve as members of the Pharmacy Board of New Zealand, in place of George Mee and Angus Welch Smith, who retire by effluxion of time, but are open for re-election.

All candidates must be nominated in the manner provided by the regulations, on or before Tuesday, the 27th day of November, 1903.

Nominations will be received by the Registrar, at his office, No. 3, Cuba Street, Wellington, before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, the 27th November, 1903.

Nomination forms will be supplied upon application.

THE public are informed that extracts from the New Zealand Gazette, containing all Bankruptcy Notices that appear in each issue, are published weekly, and will be sent post-free to any address on payment of a subscription of 10s. per annum. THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.

Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before three o’clock of the day preceding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Public a/c,” and exchange added.

Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.

Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to prevent delay in publication a sufficient remittance should accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be returned with receipted account.
