Lands in Southland Land District forfeited and surrendered.

Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, 14th January, 1903.

IT is hereby notified that the leases or licenses of the undermentioned lands have been forfeited* or surrendered accepted, by resolutions of the Southland Land Board, and that the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892.”

IT is hereby notified that, the undermentioned Crown land having been forfeited by a resolution of the Canterbury Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned Crown lands will be open for sale or selection, at this office, in terms of section 136 of “The Land Act, 1892,” either for cash, for occupation with right of purchase, or for lease in perpetuity, at the option of the selector, on and after Monday, the 23rd March, 1903.

In the event of more than one application being received for the same section on the same day, priority of selection shall be decided by ballot.
