A PPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of a provisional certificate of title in the name of THOMAS OLIVER, formerly of Dunedin, Hotelkeeper, but now of Gardena, California, for Allotments 6 and 7, Block III.. Township of Oban, being the land in certificate of title, Vol. xxviii., folio 59, and satisfactory evidence having been lodged of the loss of the said certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I will issue the provisional certificate of title as requested, unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within fourteen days from the publication hereof in the Gazette.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

N OTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which has hitherto existed between the undersigned, HENRY JAMES FORD, Sen., and JOHN CALLISTER, as Brickmakers, at Rawhitiroa, under the style of “Ford and Callister,” has been this day dissolved by mutual consent, and the assets, business credits, and effects thereof assigned to Messrs. H. J. Ford, Sen., and H. J. Ford, Jun., who will henceforth carry on business in copartnership, at Rawhitiroa as aforesaid, under the style of “Ford and Son,” and to whom all debts owing to the late partnership firm are to be paid, and by whom all the liabilities of the said partnership will be discharged.

T HE Partnership between the undersigned, lately carrying on business together in Auckland as Manufacturing and Commercial Stationers, under the name of “J. F. Leighton and Son,” has expired by effluxion of time. N OTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned, HUGH MARSHALL McGIBBON and CHARLES WATSON HARRIS, carrying on business at Whakatane under the style or firm of “The Cash Supply Company,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. THE TARANAKI NEWS COMPANY (LIMITED).

A GENERAL Meeting of the shareholders of the above company will be held at the Borough Council Chambers, New Plymouth, on Monday, 5th October, 1903, at 7.30 p.m., to deal with general business affecting the company, and in particular to consider the following special resolutions which will be proposed :—

  1. That the Taranaki News Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily.

  2. That Mr. Christopher Carter, of the Town of New Plymouth, Grocer, or such other person as shall be appointed at the meeting, shall be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the company and distributing the property in such manner as he shall think best in the interests of the company.

NOTE.—If the above resolutions, or either of them, are passed, a Meeting will be held on the 23rd day of October, 1903, at the same time and place, to confirm the same.

In the matter of the Midland Saleyards Co-operative Company (Limited).

A T an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at Messrs. Matson and Co.’s Rooms, Cashel Street, Christchurch, on Saturday, the 25th day of July, at 1.30 o’clock in the afternoon, the following special resolution was duly passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company, also duly convened, and held at the Addington Saleyards on Wednesday, the 12th day of August, 1903, at 1.30 p.m., such resolution was duly confirmed, viz. :—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily.”

And at such last-mentioned meeting ALFRED ARNAUD MORRIS McKELLAR, of Christchurch, Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of the winding-up, at a remuneration of £15 15s.
