NOTICE is hereby given that THOMAS BISHELL, of Inglewood, Settler, was this day adjudged bankrupt; and I hereby summon a meeting of creditors, to be holden at my office, on Friday, the 25th day of September, 1903, at 11.30 o'clock a.m.

MINING NOTICES.
In the matter of the Kawarau Consolidated Gold-dredging Company (Limited).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, held at Dunedin, on Wednesday, the 23rd day of September, 1903, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:-
"That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that the company be wound up accordingly; and that a Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up be appointed."
And at the same meeting it was resolved that HARRY SHRIMPTON, of Dunedin, Accountant, be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.

THE TAFFY GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened, and held on the 23rd day of September, 1903, the following extraordinary resolutions were duly passed, viz:-

"That the whole of the company's plant and property be offered for sale by public auction."

"That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that George Stephen Cray be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up."
