SCOTTISH CHIEF DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” that a General Meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at the office of the Liquidator, Ross Place, Lawrence, on the 20th day of November, 1903, at 4 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidator thereof, shall be disposed of.

THE PRINCE ARTHUR GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the Prince Arthur Gold-dredging Company (Limited), duly convened, and held at the registered office of the company, Queen’s Rooms, Crawford Street, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 27th day of August, 1903, and at an adjournment of the said meeting held at the Dunedin Stock Exchange Rooms, at Dunedin aforesaid, on Wednesday, the 2nd day of September, 1903, the following resolution, set out below, was submitted to the company, and passed as an extraordinary resolution:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that the same be wound up accordingly; that Thomas McCracken, William Ridley, and Arthur Wiffen be appointed Liquidators for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the company.”

APPLICATION having been made to me to register a transfer of Section 31, Block I., Wakaia District, by GEORGE LOW, of Gore, Saddler, in exercise of the power of sale in mortgage No. 12264, and evidence having been furnished of the loss of the outstanding duplicate of said mortgage, I hereby give notice of my intention to dispense with the production of the said duplicate mortgage and register the aforesaid transfer at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of publication hereof.
