THE following notice, received from the Mayor of the Borough of Gore, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

In the matter of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”
I, JAMES BEATTIE, Mayor of the Borough of Gore, do hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the North and South Wards of the Borough of Gore, taken on Wednesday, the 2nd day of September, on the proposal to raise a special loan of £6,000 for water-supply of the said North and South Wards of the Borough of Gore, 178 votes were recorded for the proposal and 47 votes against, and there were 5 informal votes. I therefore declare the said proposal carried.

I, JAMES BEATTIE, Mayor of the Borough of Gore, do hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the East Ward of the Borough of Gore, taken on Wednesday, the 2nd day of September, 1903, on the proposal to raise a special loan of £1,446 for the purpose of the water-supply of the East Ward of the Borough of Gore, 38 votes were recorded for the proposal and 27 votes against the proposal, and there were 2 informal votes. I therefore declare the above proposal carried.
