NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of shareholders in this company will be held at Noonin’s Hotel, Miller’s Flat, on Saturday, the 14th day of February, 1903, at 8 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of receiving the Liquidator’s accounts showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted, and of passing a resolution as to the disposal of the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidator thereof.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a poll taken this day on the proposal to adopt “The Rating on Unimproved Value Act, 1896,” in the Borough of Ashburton, and henceforth to rate property upon the basis of the unimproved value thereof, the following were the number of votes recorded:—For the proposal, 102; against the proposal, 199; informal, 4.
As the number of votes exercised in favour of the proposal is not a majority of the valid votes recorded, I declare the proposal rejected.
