IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the lessee of the land hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Waimea County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as taken for a road the land in the Whangamoa Survey District hereinafter described, that is to say,—

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the seventy-third section of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901” (herein termed “the said Act”), it is, amongst other things, enacted that, before certain moneys therein mentioned shall be expended upon any block of land, it shall be necessary that the same be proclaimed as set apart for settlement:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the said Act, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for settlement.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twelfth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and three, the new County of Weber was divided into three ridings, with provision (inter alia) that one member should be elected for each riding: And whereas it is expedient to amend the said Proclamation as hereinafter appears:
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Counties Act, 1886,” “The Weber County Act, 1902,” and all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the number of members to be elected for each of the aforesaid ridings shall be three, in lieu of one as provided by the said Proclamation.
