EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. lvii., folio 259, comprising Lot 13, Deposit Plan 326, part of Rural Section 9116, situated in the District of Timaru, whereof CHARLES CHIVERS, of Beaconsfield, near Timaru, Farmer, is the registered proprietor, and application having been made to me to issue a provisional certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I will issue such provisional certificate at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

PRIVATE ADVERTISEMENTS.
IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
WELLINGTON DISTRICT.
In the matter of the Dannevirke Co-operative Association (Limited); and in the matter of “The Companies (Memorandum of Association) Act, 1891.”
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition was, on the 31st day of August, 1903, presented to the Supreme Court by the above-named company, to confirm special resolutions of the company unanimously passed at an extraordinary general meeting of the said company held on the 29th day of July, 1903, and subsequently unanimously confirmed at an extraordinary general meeting of the said company held on the 21st day of August, 1903, and which resolutions run as follows:—
- That the provisions of the memorandum of association of the Association with respect to the objects of the Association be altered so as to eliminate the principle of co-operation and to constitute the Association an ordinary limited-liability company, and with that intent to alter the memoranda and articles as follows, namely,—
(a.) The words “upon co-operative principles,” appearing at the end of clause (c), paragraph 3, shall be struck out.
(b.) Clauses (q) and (r) of paragraph 3 shall be respectively cancelled.
- That the articles of association be altered in manner following:—
(a.) Part of clause (y) of Article 110, from and including the word “upon” to and including the word “purchasers,” in the last line, shall be struck out.
(b.) The first eight lines of Article 114 shall be cancelled, and in substitution therefor the following shall appear—
“Subject as aforesaid, the profits of the Association shall be divisible among the members in proportion to the capital paid up on the shares held by them respectively.”
And notice is further given that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Supreme Court, at Napier, on the 9th day of September, 1903, and any person interested in the said company, whether as a creditor or otherwise, desirous to oppose the making of an order for the confirmation of the said resolutions under the above Act, should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for the purpose; and a copy of the said petition will be furnished to any such person requiring the same by the company’s solicitors, Messieurs Cotterill and Humphries, of Napier, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned, CHARLES DOLBEL and JOHN WAKEFIELD, as Brickmakers, at Napier, under the firm of “Dolbel and Wakefield,” was on the 31st day of July, 1903, dissolved by mutual consent, and that in future the business will be carried on by CHARLES DOLBEL alone, and that all debts owing to or by the late firm will be respectively received and paid by the said CHARLES DOLBEL.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between ALEXANDER THOMSON, of Dunedin, and ALFRED MAURICE LEWIS, of Wellington, as Aerated-water and Cordial Manufacturers, under the style of “Thomson, Lewis, and Co.,” has been dissolved as from the 1st July, 1903, by mutual consent. The said business will for the future be carried on under the style of “Thomson, Lewis, and Co.,” by ALFRED MAURICE LEWIS, who will receive all moneys owing to and discharge all liabilities of the said firm.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before three o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Public a/c,” and exchange added.
Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.
Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to prevent delay in publication a sufficient remittance should accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be returned with receipted account.
