HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve that the names of the undermentioned officers which appear on the New Zealand Militia Active List be erased from the New Zealand Army List, they having, through death, absence from the colony without leave, and various other causes, become non-effective:—

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to revoke the Warrant published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 32, dated 30th April, 1903, in respect to the transfer of Captain Henry Parker, V.D., from No. 3 Company, N.Z.E.V. (Devonport Naval Submarine Mining Volunteers), to the Auckland Divisional Staff, New Zealand Garrison Artillery Volunteers, with rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, and with effect from 19th December, 1902.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve that the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 26, dated 9th April, 1903, promoting Lieutenant Charles James Cooper, No. 4 Company, New Zealand Garrison Artillery Volunteers, to rank of Captain, as from 3rd December, 1902, also the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 35, dated 7th May, 1903, transferring Captain Charles James Cooper from No. 4 Company, New Zealand Garrison Artillery Volunteers, to the Wellington Divisional Staff, New Zealand Garrison Artillery Volunteers, as Pay- and Quarter-master, with rank of Captain, from 19th December, 1902, be revoked. His Excellency the Governor has also been pleased to approve that the above-named officer be allowed to rejoin No. 4 Company, New Zealand Garrison Artillery Volunteers, in his former rank as Lieutenant, and with effect from 2nd September, 1896, that being date of his original appointment as Lieutenant to that company.
