discharge of mortgage No. 25808, in favour of
ROBERT SEARLE, of Palmerston North, Settler, af-
f ecting Lots 1, 2, and 12 on Deposited Plan No. 27, part of
Section 331, Palmerston North, being the land comprised in
certificates of title, Vol. xxviii., folio 55, Vol. ix., folio 168,
and Vol. xxiv., folio 51, and evidence having been lodged
of the loss of the said mortgage, I hereby give notice that
I will dispense with the production of the said mortgage and
register the discharge as requested unless caveat be lodged
forbidding the same on or before the 6th day of August,
1903.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR
BOROUGH WATERWORKS.
In the matter of “The Public Works Act, 1894”; and in the
matter of a certain piece of land, being part of Subsec-
tion 4, Araheke Native Reserve, Section M, Paritutu
Survey District, Hua and Waiwakaiho Hundred.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and
Burgesses of the Borough of New Plymouth require
to take the piece of land, containing by admeasurement
3 acres 1 rood, more or less, being part of Subsection 4,
Araheke Native Reserve, Section M, Paritutu Survey Dis-
trict, Hua and Waiwakaiho Hundred, for the purpose of
waterworks, and that, in pursuance of “The Public Works
Act, 1894,” a copy of the plan showing the position of the
said section required to be taken is open for public inspec-
tion at Mr. J. Downes’s store, at Bell Block, in the Egmont
Road District; and it is hereby notified that all persons
affected by such proposed works and taking are required to
set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the
execution of such works or to the taking of such lands, and
to send such writing within forty days from the first publi-
cation of this notice to the New Plymouth Borough Council
at New Plymouth.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately
subsisting between the undersigned ROBERT WILLIAM
BLACK and the late ROBERT BEATTIE, as Drapers and
Clothiers, at High Street, in the City of Christchurch, New
Zealand, under the firm of “Black, Beattie, and Company,”
was, on the 12th day of August, 1902, dissolved by mutual
corsent, and that all debts due and owing to or by the late
firm will be received and paid by the said Robert William
Black, who will continue to carry on the said business on
his own account.

subsisting between us, the undersigned C. W. Wood
and J. J. GRANDI, carrying on business at Timaru as Bicycle-
manufacturers, &c., under the style or firm of “C. W.
Wood and Co.,” has this day been dissolved by mutual con-
sent. All debts due to or owing by the said late firm will
be received and paid by the said C. W. Wood, who will
continue the said business under the present style or firm of
“C. W. Wood and Co.”

In the matter of the Eltham Co-operative Poultry Company

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary
general meeting of the above-named company held at
Eltham on Friday, the 10th day of July, 1903, the following
extraordinary resolutions were duly passed:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the com-
pany that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the
same, and that the same be wound up voluntarily.”
“That Walter Alexander Cathro, James Boddie, and
Thomas Nisbet Blackhall be appointed Liquidators.”
