Lands set apart for Settlement.

RANFURLY, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the seventy-third section of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901” (herein termed “the said Act”), it is, amongst other things, enacted that, before certain moneys therein mentioned shall be expended upon any block of land, it shall be necessary that the same be proclaimed as set apart for settlement:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the said Act, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the lands described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for settlement.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.
Moanui Block, 24,865 Acres.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 24,865 acres, more or less, and situated in Blocks XII. and XVI., Moanui Survey District, Blocks V., IX., XIII., and XIV., Motu Survey District, and Blocks I., II., and III., Ngatapa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by the Oamaru No. 5c Block; towards the north-east generally by Section No. 2, Block V., Section No. 9, Block X., Section No. 2, Block XIV., Motu Survey District, and Section No. 4, Block III., Ngatapa Survey District; towards the south-east by Small Grazing-run No. 47; and towards the south-west generally by Crown land: as the same is delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 50702, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.
