IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

JAMES DUNERY and
PETER MCKENZIE

to be Trustees, in the place of William Henry Valpy and Peter Hill McConachy, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Glenorchy Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this sixteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and three.

representing the employers, and

HARRY ARRINGTON SIMMONDS, Settler, of Picton, and SAMUEL MCMILLAN, Miller, of Blenheim,

representing the employees, have been duly elected as members, and

ROBERT MCARTNEY, Settler, of Blenheim,

has been duly elected as Chairman, of the Board of Conciliation in and for the Marlborough Industrial District.

WHEREAS the Registrar is satisfied that the industrial unions of employers and of workers (being the electing authorities) have failed to elect any members of the Board of Conciliation in and for the Nelson Industrial District:

Arrangements for First Elections, &c., Eureka Land-drainage District.

to be Returning Officer for the purpose of conducting the first election of five members of the Eureka Land-drainage District, as constituted under “The Land-drainage Act, 1893”; also to appoint Saturday, the 18th day of July, 1903, to be the date, and the Eureka Butter-factory, Eureka, to be the place, for holding such election; also to appoint Saturday, the 25th day of July, 1903, at 2 o’clock p.m., to be the time, and the Homestead Office, Eureka, to be the place, at which the first meeting of Trustees shall be held.
