Land taken for a Road, Parish of Waioeka, Opotiki County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1894,” for a certain work, to wit, for the purpose of a road through Section 361, Parish of Waioeka, Opotiki County :
And whereas an agreement has been entered into by the Minister, in terms of section twenty-six of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereafter set forth :
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land as required by the said Act :
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of a road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land being portion of Section 361, Parish of Waioeka, Opotiki County, and containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 28 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north by portion of Section 361 aforesaid, 209, 885, 216, 158, 180, 144, 123, 162, 197, 166, 230, and 88 links; towards the south and west by a public road 100 links wide, 101 links, and other portion of Section 361 aforesaid, 62, 196, 166, 172, 148, 94, 38, 165, 218, 261, 873, and 199 links; and towards the west by a public road 50 links wide, 101 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked R. 4267, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Setting apart Land in Auckland Land District for Leasing as Small Grazing-runs under “The Land Act, 1892.”

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the one-hundred-and-seventy-second section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections one hundred and seventy-two to one hundred and eighty-six of Part V. of “The Land Act, 1892,” relating to small grazing-runs.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
West Taupo County.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in Block XVI., Puketapu Survey District; Blocks XIII. and XIV., Karangahape Survey District; Block IV., Maungaku Survey District; and Blocks I. and II., Pukawa Survey District; containing by admeasurement 7,238 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north by the Hauhungaroa No. 6 Block and the Ngatokotoko Stream; towards the north-east by the Hauhungaroa No. 6 Block aforesaid; towards the east by Taupo Lake; towards the south generally by the Kurutau River; and towards the west by the Waituhi Kurutau No. 1b Block to the point of commencement.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in Blocks IX., X., and XI., Karangahape Survey District, containing by admeasurement 3,149 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north and north-east generally by the Hauhungaroa No. 2 Block; towards the east by Taupo Lake; towards the south by the Hauhungaroa No. 1 Block; and towards the west by the Hauhungaroa No. 7 Block to the point of commencement.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in Block V., Karangahape Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2,953 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north by the Oruapuraho Stream; towards the east by Taupo Lake; and towards the south and west by the Hauhungaroa No. 2 Block to the point of commencement.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in Blocks XIV., XV., and XVI., Maungatautari Survey District; and Blocks II., III., and IV., Wharepapa Survey District; containing by admeasurement 10,805 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by the Maungatautari No. 3b No. 2 Block; towards the east by the Waikato River; towards the south-east by the Wharepuhunga No. 16 Block; towards the south-west by Section No. 1 of Block VI. and Sections Nos. 2 and 1 of Block II., both of Wharepapa Survey District; and towards the north-west by the Wharepuhunga No. 14 Block to the point of commencement.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in Block XVI., Wharepapa Survey District, and Blocks IV., VII., and VIII., Ranginui Survey District, containing by admeasurement 6,000 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north and south-east by Pastoral Run No. 61; towards the south-west by a line; and towards the north-west generally by the Wharepuhunga No. 2o Block, the Pouakani A No. 2b and A No. 1b Blocks, the Wharepuhunga No. 17 Block, and the south-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned block produced to the point of commencement.

New County of Weber divided into Ridings, &c.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Counties Act, 1886,” and “The Weber County Act, 1902,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby divide the new County of Weber, as constituted by the said Acts, into three ridings, to be called the Weber Riding, the Ti-tree Point Riding, and the Wimbledon Riding, and declare that the boundaries thereof shall be those set forth under the names of the said ridings respectively in the Schedule hereto.
And I do hereby declare that one member shall be elected for each of the above-named ridings.
And I do further declare that Saturday, the thirty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and three, shall be
