THE following special order, made by the Manchester Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

MANCHESTER ROAD BOARD.
Special Order.
THAT, in order to provide the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,660, the Manchester Road Board, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1902,” doth hereby make and levy a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable properties comprising the whole of No. 5 Subdivision of the Manchester Road District (excepting thereout the following sections or portion of sections in No. 5 Subdivision aforesaid, which are paying a special rate for Valley Road diversion: viz., Subdivision H, Manchester Block; part Section 44, Block XVI., Oroua Survey District, 171 acres 27 poles; Section 47, Block XVI., Oroua Survey District, 171 acres 1 rood 12 poles; Subdivision H, Manchester Block, part Section 48, Block XII., Oroua Survey District, 142 acres; Subdivision H, Manchester Block, part Sections 48 and 54, Block XII., Oroua Survey District, 127 acres 3 roods 25 poles), to be called “No. 20 Special-rating District”; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate, payable during the currency of such loan at the Board’s office half-yearly on the first day of April and October in each year for a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The said £3,660 is for the purpose of constructing roads, bridges, &c., as set forth in the proposal giving notice of the intention to raise such loan advertised in the Feilding Star on 27th December, 1902, and 3rd, 10th, and 17th January, 1903.
I hereby certify that the above special order has been made and confirmed in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

THE following special order, made by the Wirokino Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

WIROKINO ROAD BOARD.
Special Order.
THIS Board now make a special rate of ¹⁄₁₀d. in the pound on the rateable value of the properties comprised within the boundaries of the Heatherlea East Special-rating District, as constituted and confirmed by special order on the 18th February, 1901, to provide for interest and other annual charges for a period of forty-one years on a loan of £60, being £10 per centum of £600 loan for the said special district under “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” as the amount of loan was insufficient to complete the works.
I hereby certify that the foregoing special order has been duly passed in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

WIROKINO ROAD BOARD.
Special Order.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Wirokino Road Board resolves as follows:—
That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £600 authorised to be raised by the Wirokino Road Board, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of forming footpaths, widening and metalling Horowhenua Road West, metalling Werwera Road North and South, and constructing Tirotiro Road North, the said Wirokino Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¹⁄₄d. in the pound upon the valuation of all rateable property of the Horowhenua West Special-rating District, comprising Sections 1 to 12, Block IX.; 4, 5, 8, Block X.; 1 to 7, Block XI.; Levin Town, 11, 13, 22 to 25, 27, 29; Allotments 29 and 39 of 31, Levin Suburban, 1 to 10; 20 to 29, 70, 71, Block I., Waiopehu Survey District, all inclusive; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing special order has been duly passed, in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing special order has been duly passed in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”
