BRUCE COUNTY COUNCIL.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Bruce County Council, under the provisions of section 17, subsections 1 to 5, of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” propose to open up closed road between Sections 37, 38, and part of 39, Block VI., and Sections 31, 32, and part of 33 (to junction of road running through Section 33), all in Waihola Survey District, for a public road.
Plan of the proposed road can be seen at the County Office, Milton. All persons having any objections to the opening-up of this road are requested to send in a list of said objections, in writing, to the Chairman of the Bruce County Council within forty days of the date of this notice.

THE NEW ZEALAND TYPEWRITER AND SUPPLIES COMPANY (LIMITED).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the abovenamed company, held at the Registered Office of the said company, in Victoria Arcade, in Auckland aforesaid, on the 14th day of October, 1902, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—
“That the directors be empowered—
“1. To dispose of the business and assets of the company to the best advantage, provided the condition of disposal shall be such as to release the company from all its liabilities, and to exempt the shareholders from further calls or liability of any kind, and thereafter to formally wind up the company by voluntary liquidation, to which end the directors are empowered to appoint a Liquidator.
“2. Failing such disposal of the business on the conditions stated, it having been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, to petition the Court to have the company wound up by the Court.”
