Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of
the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the
land in the Auckland Land District described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said
Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land
so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section
No. 7 of Block XIV., Purua Survey District, containing by
admeasurement 14 acres 2 roods, more or less. Bounded
towards the north by a public road, 388 and 749 links
respectively; thence towards the east by Section No. 8 of
Block XIV., Purua Survey District, 1236 links; thence
towards the south by Section No. 48 of Block II., Tangihua
Survey District, 1458 links; and thence towards the west
by a public road, 1346 links, to the point of commencement;
be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is
delineated on the plan marked S.G. 50086, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured
red. For a reserve for public recreation.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this seventh day of March, one thousand nine
hundred and three.

RANFURLY, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth sec-
tion of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the
Governor may from time to time, either by general or par-
ticular description, and whether the same has been sur-
veyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding
that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any
Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of
the purposes in the said section mentioned:

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Sections
Nos. 17, 18, 19, and 36 of Block I., Mackaytown, Block
XIII., Ohinemuri Survey District, containing by admea-
surement 1 acre and 5 perches, more or less. Bounded
towards the north-east by a road, 222·2 links; thence towards
the south-east, again towards the north-east, and towards
the north-west by right lines, 225, 41·8, and 225 links re-
spectively; thence again towards the north-east by the said
road, 111·1 links; thence again towards the south-east by
Section No. 20, Block I., Mackaytown, 225 links; thence
towards the south-west and again towards the south-east by
Section No. 35 of the said Block I., 74·6 and 262·1 links
respectively; thence again towards the south-west by the
main road, 106·7 links; thence again towards the north-west
by Section No. 37 of the said Block I., 298·5 links; thence
again towards the south-west by the said Section No. 37 and
by Section No. 38 of the said Block I., 200·2 links; and
thence again towards the north-west by Section No. 16 of
the said Block I., 225 links, to the point of commence-
ment: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the
same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49710, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
bordered purple. For a site for a public school.

Trustees for the Manaroa Public Cemetery appointed.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries
Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
the several persons whose names are specified in the first
column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide
for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery speci-
fied in the second column of the said Schedule.

Names of Trustees. Name of Public Cemetery, and Description of Land.
Hinton Hasluck Campbell, George Wilson Mills, George Newton Proctor Godsiff, Nathan Alexander Harvey, and William Morris Masefield. MANAROA. All that parcel of land in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being part of Section No. 7, Block V., Orieri Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 2, 500 links; towards the east by Section No. 8, 400 links; towards the south by other part of Section No. 7, 500 links; and towards the west by other part of Section No. 7, 400 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Blenheim.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this seventh day of March, one thousand nine
hundred and three.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the
eighth section of “The Justices of the Peace Act
Amendment Act, 1888,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ran-
furly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby notify and declare that

STANLEY HERBERT CARR,

being a person holding the office of Postmaster under “The
Post Office Act, 1900,” at Kinohaku, is authorised to take
and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-
and-thirty-fourth section of “The Justices of the Peace
Act, 1882.”

As witness my hand, this seventh day of March, one
thousand nine hundred and three.

trict as defined by notification under “The Animals Protec-
tion Act, 1880,” published in the New Zealand Gazette of the
22nd June, 1899.
