said colony, doth hereby order that the roads described in
the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this
Order in Council, be Government roads.

SCHEDULE.

The road known as Hatuma Road, commencing at the
north-east boundary of Section 4, Block XIV., Waipukurau
Survey District, and ending at the point where it junctions
with Ngahape and Makotukutuku Roads, at the southern
boundary of Sections 18 and 19, Block I., Motuotaria Survey
District.

The road known as Waiau Road, commencing at the point
where it junctions with Hatuma Road, at the eastern boundary of Sections 5 and 11, Block I., Motuotaria Survey District, and ending at the point where it junctions with
Maharakeke Road, between Sections 2 and 6, Block I.,
Motuotaria Survey District.

The road known as Maharakeke Road, commencing at the
north-west corner of Section 3, Block XIII., Waipukurau
Survey District, being the point where it junctions with the
Main South Road, and ending at its junction with Makotukutuku Road, at the south-west boundary of Section 1,
Block IV., Takapau Survey District.

The road giving access from Hatuma Road to Hatuma
Lake Reserve, and constituting the north-east boundary of
Section 1, Block II., Motuotaria Survey District.

The road through Hatuma Township, commencing at its
junction with Hatuma Road, and running in a westerly
direction to the eastern boundary of Section 13, Block I.,
Motuotaria Survey District.

The road through Section 2, Block I., Motuotaria Survey
District, commencing at its junction with Maharakeke Road,
and running in a north-westerly direction to the north-west
boundary of the aforesaid section.

The road known as Makotukutuku Road, commencing at
Ngahape Stream on the eastern boundary of Section 1,
Block I., Motuotaria Survey District, and ending at the
Maharakeke Stream on the north-west boundary of Section 2, Block IV.. Takapau Survey District.

The road known as Rangitoto Road, commencing at its
junction with Makotukutuku Road, at the north-west corner
of Section 1, Block V., Motuotaria Survey District, and
ending at the western boundary of Section 9, Block VIII.,
Takapau Survey District.

The road known as Ngahape Road, commencing at its
junction with Hatuma and Makotukutuku Roads, on the
northern boundary of Section 1, Block I., Motuotaria
Survey District, and ending at the north-east boundary of
S.G.R. No. 7, Block VIII., Takapau Survey District.

The road giving access to S.G.R. No. 6, commencing at
its junction with Rangitoto Road, at the north-east corner of
Section 4, and running in a southerly direction to the northern extremity of S.G.R. No. 6, the whole of the road being
in Block VIII., Takapau Survey District.

The road known as Turiri Road, commencing at the
eastern boundary and ending at the western boundary of
Section 1, Block XII., Takapau Survey District.

The road known as Purimu Road, commencing at the
eastern boundary and ending at the western boundary of
Section 2, Block XII., Takapau Survey District.

The road commencing at the south-eastern boundary and
ending at the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block XI.,
Takapau Survey District, and also the road intersecting it,
and running in a southerly direction to the point where it
junctions with the Ormondville Road, in Block XI., Takapau
Survey District.

All in the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the abovementioned roads are more particularly delineated on the
plan marked R. 2323, deposited in the office of the Chief
Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land
District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Roads to be County Roads, Kaikoura County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this ninth day
of March, 1903.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by section one hundred and two of “The Public Works
Act, 1894,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him
in this behalf, His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter
John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that
the roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and
after the date above mentioned, be county roads.

SCHEDULE.

Those roads in the Marlborough Land District, Kaikoura
County, Kaitarau, Mount Fyffe, and Hundalee Survey Districts, aggregating in length 80 miles 26 chains, more or less,
and comprising roads and portions of roads as described
hereinbelow, viz.:

The Seaward Valley Road, intersecting Sections 4,
Block III., Mount Fyffe, and 1, Block XVI., Kaitarau;
and bounding Sections 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, Block XVI., and 2,
Block XII., Kaitarau; and intersecting S.G. Run No. 106,
Puhipuhi Survey District.

The Puhipuhi Valley Road, bounding Sections 8, 7, 62,
5, 4, 3, 2, Block II., Mount Fyffe, 2, Block XV., Kaitarau,
S.G. Run 102, Section 4A, Block XVI., Kaitarau, S.G. Runs
103, 104; and intersecting S.G. Run 106, Puhipuhi Survey
District.

The Iron Gate Road, intersecting Native Reserve A, and
bounding Section 3, Block XVI., Kaitarau Survey District.

Goose Bay Track, intersecting S.G. Runs 90, 89, and 91,
Hundalee Survey District.

The South Coast Road, Kahautara-Conway, bounding
Sections 24, 33, 34, 38, 40, Native Reserve H, Block VI. and
Block XI.; Native Reserve, 1, 9, 10, 4, Block XI.; Native
Reserve J, 5, Block XI.; S.G. Run 95, Native Reserve K, Section 6, Block XV.; Native Reserve L, 1, 2, 3, 4, Block XVIII.:
intersecting Sections 5 and 6, Block XVIII.; bounding Sections 7, 8, Block XVIII., and 1, 2, 3, 4, Block XXI., Hundalee
Survey District.

The road intersecting Section 15, Block XVIII., Hundalee.

The road intersecting Section 7, Block XVIII., Hundalee.

The road intersecting S.G. Run 86, and bounding S.G.
Run 87.

The Spey Road, intersecting Sections 96, 95, 94, Block II.,
91, 90, 89, 88, 123, 122, Block XIII.; bounding Sections 2
and 3, Block XII.; intersecting Section 1, Block XII.; and
bounding Section 117, Block XII., Hundalee Survey District.

The Tukutukuiwi-Spey Road, bounding S.G. Run 86,
intersecting S.G. Runs 156 and 157, and intersecting and
bounding Section 4, Block XIII., and bounding Section 1,
Block XIII., Hundalee Survey District.

And the road intersecting Section 1, Block XX., Hundalee
Survey District.

All in the Marlborough Land District; as the same are
delineated on the plan marked R. 1343, deposited in the
office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the
Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring an Approach Road to Marton Railway-station, in
the Rangitoto Survey District, to be a County Road.

RANFURLY, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this ninth day
of March, 1903.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said colony, doth hereby order that the road known
as an approach road to Marton Station, on the Foxton-New
Plymouth Railway, situated in the County of Rangitikei, and
described in the Schedule hereto, and which said road has
hitherto been a Government road within the meaning of the
said Act, shall, on and after the date of this Order in
Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Provincial District of Wellington, containing 4 acres 3 roods 9 perches, more or less, situated at
Marton, on the Foxton-New Plymouth Railway, being portions of Sections 7 and 8, Block III., Rangitoto Survey District, and being part of the land taken for a road by a
Proclamation dated the 10th day of May, 1898, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 35, of the 12th day of
May, 1898, and described therein as containing 2 acres and
26 perches and 2 acres 2 roods 23 perches respectively: as
the same is delineated upon the plan marked 9232, deposited
in the office of the Minister for Railways, at Wellington,
and thereon coloured green.
