Temporarily reserving Lands in the Auckland Land District.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 8 of Block X., Rotorua Survey District, containing by admeasurement 203 acres 3 roods 38 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north by the Mangorewa-Kaharoa Block, 2980 links; thence towards the east by Section No. 8a of Block X., Rotorua Survey District, 6722 links; thence towards the south by a public road, 3036 links; and thence towards the west by Section No. 9 of Block VI., Rotorua Survey District, 7165 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49231a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured purple. For an endowment for primary education.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 1 of Block VIII., Motatau Survey District, containing by admeasurement 12 acres 1 rood 13 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 5 of Block IV., Motatau Survey District, 842 links; towards the east by Section No. 72 of Block V., Hukerenui Survey District, 2198 links; and towards the south-west generally by a public road, 2604 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49231b, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a ballast reserve.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 139 of the Parish of Whaingaroa, containing by admeasurement 17 acres and 16 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by the Waitetuna River from its confluence with the Mangokino River; towards the south-east by the abutment of a public road and Section No. 130a of the said Parish of Whaingaroa; towards the south-west by the said Section No. 130a, the crossing of a public road, and again by the said Section No. 130a to the Mangakino River; and towards the west generally by the Mangakino River to the point of commencement: excepting from the above-described area a road of varying width: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49231, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a reserve for public recreation.

Notifying Land in Auckland for Sale by Public Auction.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and the second section of “The Reserves and other Lands Sale, Disposal, and Enabling and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1901,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-third day of January, one thousand nine hundred and three, as the time at which the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the price at which the said land shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule.

Notifying Lands in Canterbury for Sale by Public Auction.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Tuesday, the thirteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and three, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction at Ashburton; and I do hereby fix the price at which the said lands shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto opposite the description of such lands respectively.
