Amending the Description of a Reserve in the Southland Land District.
RANFURLY, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-ninth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that where there has been any error of description made in any notification of any intended reserve, or where there appears a great discrepancy in the area of any intended reserve after the same shall have been surveyed, the Governor may cancel any notification that may have been made in respect of such reserve, and issue fresh notification in respect thereof, with amended particulars and description: And whereas an error was made in the description of Section No. 85, Block XVI., Town of Gore, in the Warrants of the fourteenth day of May and the eighteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 38, of the twenty-third day of May, and No. 72, of the twenty-sixth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, respectively, reserving the land for municipal purposes; and it is expedient to cancel the said notifications so far as they relate to Section No. 85, Block XVI., Town of Gore, aforesaid:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Warrants of the fourteenth day of May and the eighteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, in so far as they relate to Section No. 85, Block XVI., Town of Gore, and do declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart as a reserve for municipal purposes, being the land intended to be reserved by the said notifications.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Southland, containing by admeasurement 12 acres 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 85, Block XVI., Town of Gore. Bounded towards the north-east, east, and south-east by a public road along the bank of the Mataura River, 3760 links, and towards the west by a public road, 3313·2 links: be both the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Invercargill.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and two.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint ROBERT NEIL and NEIL MCEWEN to be Trustees, in the place of George Gregg, deceased, and John Shield, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Tokanui Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and two.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the forty-fifth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint TOM BOSWALL WILLIAMS, ROBERT BRAMWELL HORSLEY, and ALEXANDER SMITH LAIRD to be Trustees, in the place of Henry Ireson Jones and Peter Bell, resigned, and James Laird, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Wanganui General Cemetery, in conjunction with William Bruce and John George Sharpe, previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and two.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the sixteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and three, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule.
