To the Returning Officer for the Western Maori Electoral District.

IN pursuance of Part IV. of “The Electoral Act, 1902,” I hereby authorise and require you to proceed, according to law, to the election of a member to serve in the House of Representatives for the Western Maori Electoral District, and that you cause the nomination of the said member to be at the Courthouse, at Wanganui, on the twenty-seventh day of November, 1902, and, in the event of the election being contested, that the poll shall be taken on the twenty-second day of December, 1902.

You are further required to indorse on this writ the name of the person so elected, and then to return the writ to me on or before the thirteenth day of January, 1903.

Dated at Wellington, this eleventh day of November, 1902.

You are further required to indorse on this writ the name of the person so elected, and then to return the writ to me on or before the thirteenth day of January, 1903.
