“RATING ON UNIMPROVED VALUE ACT, 1896.”
NOTICE is hereby given that the poll taken on the 23rd day of October instant, on the proposal to adopt “The Rating on Unimproved Value Act, 1896,” within the County of Wairarapa South, and thereby in future to rate property upon the basis of the unimproved value thereof, resulted as follows:—
Votes recorded in favour of proposal .. 187
Votes recorded against the proposal .. 8

I therefore declare the proposal to be carried.

WOODLANDS DAIRY FACTORY COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that at a duly convened and constituted meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company, held in the long-room of the Railway Hotel, Woodlands, the following resolution was carried unanimously, viz.:— “8th October, 1902.—At an extraordinary meeting of shareholders held this day the sale of the factory was confirmed, and W. L. Taylor was appointed Liquidator.”

A SPECIAL Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette is now published fortnightly, containing all notices concerning patents and trade-marks required by law to be gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for patents, expired letters patent, and other information useful to inventors, manufacturers, and others. The Supplement will be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and to others on payment of a subscription of ten shillings per annum, payable in advance to the Government Printer.
