PRIVATE ADVERTISEMENTS.

NOTICE OF INTENTION BY THE CAMPBELLTOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL TO TAKE LAND, ETC.,
UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF “THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1894,” AND “THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ACT, 1900.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Campbelltown Borough Council intend to take and use the lands described below for the purpose of waterworks at Campbelltown, and have deposited a plan of such lands in the Town Clerk’s Office, Campbelltown, the Bluff, where it may be inspected at all reasonable hours.

And all persons affected or liable to be affected by the execution of the proposed works or by the taking of such lands are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of the works intended or the taking of the said land, and to send such written objections to the said Council within forty days from the first publication of this notice.

The lands above referred to are the following:—

First. All those parcels of land, being part of Section 8, Block I., Campbelltown Hundred, containing twenty-three acres and thirty-six perches, more or less, coloured green and blue on the said plan; owned and occupied by the Bluff Harbour Board.

Second. All that parcel of land, twenty links wide, being part of said Section 8, containing two roods twenty-two perches, more or less, marked “Easement for service pipe,” and coloured red on the said plan; owned by J. J. T. Boyd’s Trustees, and occupied by the Bluff Harbour Board.

Third. All those parcels of land used as pipe-lines, together with the pipes, in the streets of the Borough of Campbelltown, shown by red lines on the said plan; the streets being owned and partly occupied by the Corporation of the said borough, and partly occupied by the said Harbour Board, and the said pipes being owned, occupied, and used by the said Harbour Board.

Fourth. All that the pipe-line, together with the pipes, shown on the said plan as a red line, crossing the railway reserve from Gore Street to the wharf; such reserve being owned by the Crown, and the pipes being owned, occupied, and used by the said Harbour Board.

Fifth. All that the pipe-line, together with the pipes, shown on the said plan by red lines, on the wharf; owned, occupied, and used by the said Harbour Board.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, CHARLES CHRISTIAN SOMMERS, JOHN NATHANIEL CATCHPOLE WINNY, and RICHARD DONOVAN, carrying on business as Booksellers and Stationers, in Christchurch, under the style or firm of “H. J. Wood and Co.,” was dissolved on the 1st day of April, 1898, by mutual consent.

FOR Deaf Children of sound intellect. The pupils are taught to use and understand ordinary speech. The best age for entrance is between six and seven.

The full charge for board and education is £40 a year, but less is accepted from parents who cannot afford to pay this amount. In case of necessity admission is free.
