Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less, being Section No. 17, Block VIII., Ruataniwha Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 2 of the said Block VIII., 499·7 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 2 aforesaid, 604·5 links; towards the south-west by a public road (Blackburn Road), 500 links; and towards the north-west by Section No. 2 aforesaid, 604·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 19235, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a public cemetery.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and two.

Temporarily reserving Land in the Marlborough Land District.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Marlborough Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 200 acres, more or less, being Section No. 6, Block XVI., Kaitarau Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 9; towards the east generally by public road and by Section No. 7; towards the south-west by Section No. 4 of the said Block XVI.; and towards the west by Sections Nos. 4 and 9 respectively: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49098, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red. For preservation of scenery.

Belmont Survey District, and by Subdivision No. 11 and public road; towards the south-west by Subdivisions Q and 9c respectively; and towards the west by Maungaraki Road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49197, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered green. For reserve for public recreation.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and two.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in the Town of Picton.

WHEREAS the provisions and the requirements of the seventh section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” have been duly complied with in respect of the land described in the first column of the Schedule hereto: And whereas notices in the Gazette have been duly published for four consecutive weeks, and laid before both Houses of the Assembly, as provided by the ninth section of the said Act: And whereas no resolution of either House of Assembly has been passed that such House does not concur in the intention declared in any such notice:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Act aforesaid, do hereby change the specific purpose of the reserve described in the first column of the Schedule hereto from that named therein to the specific purpose named in the second column of the said Schedule.
