A GENERAL Meeting of Shareholders will be held at the Office of the Liquidator, 28, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Friday, the 9th day of January, 1903, to receive the report of the Liquidator and wind up the company.

THE EXTENDED FOURTEEN-MILE BEACH GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the abovenamed company, duly convened, and held on the 19th day of June, 1902, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed, namely:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

And at an extraordinary general meeting of the said company held on the 30th day of June, 1902, Stephen Spain was appointed Liquidator of the said company for the purposes of the said winding-up.

I, JOHN HOLLINGS GRIFFITHS, of Tauranga, in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, Agent, hereby apply to register the Te Puke North Gold-mining Company as a no-liability company under the provisions of “The Mining Companies Act, 1894.”

  1. The name of the company is the Te Puke North Gold-mining Company (No Liability).

  2. The place of operations is Section No. 3 of Waitaha No. 1b Block, in Block V., Maketu Survey District, being the Ben Lomond Special Claim and the Ben Lomond Licensed Holding, situate at Te Puke, in the said provincial district.

  3. The registered office of the company will be situated in Spring Street, at Tauranga aforesaid.

  4. The value of the company’s property, including lease ground and machinery, is four hundred pounds.

  5. The number of shares in the company is four hundred shares of one pound each.

  6. The number of shares subscribed for is four hundred.

  7. The name of the Manager is the abovenamed John Hollings Griffiths.

  8. The names, and addresses, and occupations of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follows:—

APPLICATION FOR LICENSE FOR A WATER-RACE.

To the Warden of the Hauraki Mining District, at Tauranga.

PURSUANT to “The Mining Act, 1898,” the undersigned, Montague Harrison Wynyard, of Auckland, Solicitor, hereby applies for a license for a water-race, as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.

Date and number of miner’s right: 15th September, 1902; No. 4114.

Address for service: Care of John A. Clark, Spring Street, Tauranga.

Dated at Tauranga, this 15th day of September, 1902.

SCHEDULE.

Locality of the race, and of its starting and terminal points: Te Puke. Commencing at the western peg of John Falvey’s application for a water-race, and terminating about 40 chains in a westerly direction on the two branches of the creek known as Clark’s Creek.

Pegs marked: IX.

Length and intended course of race: 40 chains; about west.

Points of intake: At peg marked IX., adjoining Falvey’s peg.

Estimated time and cost of construction: Six months; £500.
