Notifying Lands in Auckland for Sale by Public Auction.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of
“ The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of
Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby appoint Friday, the fourteenth day of November,
one thousand nine hundred and two, as the time at which
the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold
by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which
the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said
Schedule hereto opposite the description of such lands
respectively.

Temporarily reserving Lands in the Auckland Land District.

RANFURLY, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section
of “ The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the
Governor may from time to time, either by general or par-
ticular description, and whether the same has been surveyed
or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that
the same may be then held under pastoral license, any
Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of
the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands
in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule
hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule
specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the
lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Sections
Nos. 342 and 343 of the Parish of Whangamarino, contain-
ing by admeasurement 30 acres, more or less. Bounded
towards the north-east by Section No. 344 of the Parish of
Whangamarino, 1989 links; towards the south-east by a
public road, 1474 links; towards the south-west by a public
road, 2627 links; and towards the north-west by a public
road, 1301 links, to the point of commencement: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on
the plan marked S.G. 48982, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the
Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For
a reserve for purposes of the Department of Agriculture.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section
No. 5A of Block II., Mangaorongo Survey District, contain-
ing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less. Bounded towards
the south-east by a public road, 365 and 479 links respec-
tively; towards the south-west by Section No. 5 of Block II.,
Mangaorongo Survey District, 397 links; and towards the
north-west by the Puketarata No. 13B Section 1 Block,
664 links, to the point of commencement: be all the afore-
said linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the
plan marked S.G. 49050, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the
Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a
cemetery reserve.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section
No. 9 of Block XIII., Puniu Survey District, containing by
admeasurement 267 acres 2 roods, more or less. Bounded
towards the north by a Native reserve and the Ouruwhero
No. 1 Block, 6067 links: towards the east generally by the
Main Trunk Railway reserve, 176, 458, and 436 links respec-
tively; by the crossing of the said railway reserve, 122 links,
and by Section No. 3 of Block XIII., Puniu Survey District,
4973 links: towards the south by the abutment of a public
road and a Native reserve, 812 links: towards the west by the
Puketarata No. 11B Section 2 Block, 1062 links: again to-
wards the south by the last-mentioned block, 2911 links; by
the crossing of the railway reserve aforesaid, 142 links; and
again by the block last mentioned, 1666 links: and towards
the west by the Puketarata No. 4G Section 11 Block, 4903
links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less: save and except such portion of the
Main Trunk Railway reserve as intersects the area herein-
before described: as the same is delineated on the plan
marked S.G. 49050A, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, and thereon coloured purple. For an endow-
ment for primary education.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Sec-
tion No. 8 of Block IV., Orahiri Survey District, containing
by admeasurement 37 acres 3 roods 23 perches, more or less.
Bounded towards the north-east by the Otorohanga N No. 2
Block, 1058 links; towards the south-east by the Otorohanga
C Block, 4050 links; towards the south-west by the Otoro-
hanga D Block 473 links, by the crossing of a road 200 links,
and again by the Otorohanga D Block aforesaid 600 links;
and towards the north-west by the Otorohanga E No. 5
Block 460 links, by the crossing of a road 138 links, and
again by the last-mentioned block 2742 links, to the point
of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less: excepting from the above-described area a road 100
links wide: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G.
49050B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land Dis-
trict, and thereon coloured red. For a recreation reserve.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fifth day of September, one thousand nine
hundred and two.
