All in the Auckland Land District; as the said parcels of land are more particularly delineated on the plans marked as above mentioned, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above stated.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two.

Cancelling a Proclamation.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section twenty-two, subsection one, of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do by this notice hereby cancel and annul the Proclamation dated the nineteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 25, page 726, and dated the twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and two, taking lands for roads in the Parishes of Karioi and Whaingaroa, Raglan County, as set forth in the Schedule thereto; and such Proclamation shall be void and of none effect as from the date of the same.

Declaring Road-deviation through Land in Blocks V. and III., Weber Survey District, to be a District Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of September, 1902.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the road-deviation described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a district road.

Vesting a Reserve in the Otatau Town Board.

RANFURLY, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of September, 1902.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto has been permanently set apart for a site for an athenæum: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said land in the Otatau Town Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Otatau Town Board, in trust, for the purpose of a site for an athenæum.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Southland, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 11, Block I., Township of Otatau. Bounded on the north-east by Section No. 14 in the said block, 100
