NOTICE OF MEDICAL REGISTRATION.

I, ALFRED ERNEST JAFFRAY BARCROFT, Licentiate Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, Licentiate King’s and Queen’s College of Physicians, Ireland, now residing in Auckland, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 11th September next to have my name placed on the Medical Register for the Colony of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Registrar at Auckland.

MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL.

TAKING LAND FOR A GRAVEL-PIT.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Masterton County Council requires the land described in the Schedule hereto for a public work, to wit, a gravel-pit, and proposes to take the same under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894.” A plan of the land so proposed to be taken is deposited at the County Council Office, Hall Street, Masterton, and is there open for inspection during office hours. All persons affected by the taking of the said land, if they have any well-grounded objections to such taking, shall set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the Masterton County Council, at the address aforesaid.

Notice of Intention to take Land for a Gravel-pit at Makikihi, in the County of Waimate.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waimate County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the making of a gravel-pit at Rural Section 29412, Makikihi Riding, and for the purpose of the said work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and that the plan of the said land is now open for inspection at the office of the Waimate County Council, at Waimate. And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or by the taking of the said land, are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said work or to the taking of the said land, and to send such writing within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice to the Waimate County Council, at its office, Waimate.
