THE following special order, made by the Council of the Borough of Grey Lynn, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

Borough of Grey Lynn.
Special Order making Special Rate.
I HEREBY give notice that, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Public Health Act, 1900,” the Grey Lynn Borough Council, at a special meeting convened for that purpose, and held in the Council Chambers on the 26th day of May, 1902, resolved as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorised to be raised by the Grey Lynn Borough Council, under the provisions of ‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,’ for drainage purposes, the said Grey Lynn Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅜d. in the pound upon the unimproved rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Borough of Grey Lynn, comprising the two wards of the said borough, known as Surrey and Sussex Wards, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of June and the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off; the first payment to made on the 1st day of June next.”
Notice is also hereby given that a special meeting of the Council will be held in the Council Chambers, Grey Lynn, on the 23rd day of June, 1902, at 7.30 p.m., for the purpose of confirming the said resolution.

PAHIATUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order.
THAT a special rate of 1¾d. in the pound be struck on the rateable value for the time being of the following sections, comprising the special-rating area for Loan 62 (Sedcole Street, Kaitawa), viz., Kaitawa Suburban Sections 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 55, all in Block VIII., Makuri Survey District, to meet interest, sinking fund, and annual charges on a loan of £100, to be borrowed by this Council under “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” and its amendments, to form and metal Sedcole Street, Kaitawa; such rate to be an annual-recurring rate for forty-one years, at 3½ per cent. per annum, and to be paid in one sum on 1st September in each year.
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly passed by the Pahiatua County Council on 8th February, 1902, and confirmed on 3rd May, 1902, in accordance with “The Counties Act, 1886.”
