Temporarily reserving Lands in the Auckland Land District.

RANFURLY, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of โ€œThe Land Act, 1892,โ€ it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Allotment No. 584C of the Town of Cambridge East, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 3 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north by Allotment No. 587 of the Town of Cambridge East, 814 links; towards the south-east by Fort Street, 790 links; towards the south-west by Allotment No. 584B of the Town of Cambridge East aforesaid, 408 links; towards the north-west and again towards the south-west by Allotment No. 584A of the Town of Cambridge East aforesaid, 100 links and 322 links respectively, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 48690, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a reserve for police purposes.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 11 of Block X., Tokatoka Survey District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 800 links; towards the east by Section No. 12 of Block X., Tokatoka Survey District, 1250 links; towards the south by Section No. 2 of the said Block X., 800 links; and towards the west by Section No. 10 of the said Block X., 1250 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 48752, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a site for a market.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 10 of Block X., Tokatoka Survey District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres and 37 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 448 links; towards the east by Section No. 11 of Block X., Tokatoka Survey District, 1250 links; towards the south by Section No. 2 of the said Block X., 710 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 1277 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 48752A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a site for public buildings.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 17 of Block VIII., Maungamangero Survey District, containing by admeasurement 875 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 15, Block VIII., Maungamangero Survey District; towards the east by Section No. 16 of the said Block VIII.; towards the south-east and south-west by Kihikihi Road, by the crossing of the said road, by the Kinohaku East No. 4F Section 2 Block, and by Section No. 5, Block XI., Maungamangero Survey District, by the crossing of Kihikihi Road, and again towards the south-east by the said road; and towards the west by Section No. 11 of Block VII., Maungamangero Survey District, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: save and except such portion of the Kihikihi Road as intersects the area hereinbefore described: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 48753, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured purple. For an endowment for primary education.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Allotments Nos. 1, 2, 15, and 16 of the Village of Raupo, containing by admeasurement 4 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Awaroa Street; towards the south-east by Allotments Nos. 3 and 17 of the Village of Raupo; towards the south-west by River Street; and towards the north-west by Tokatoka Road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 48688, deposited in the

Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a recreation reserve.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Allotments Nos. 12, 13, and 14 of the Village of Raupo, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Awaroa Street; towards the south-east by Omaru Road; towards the south-west by Allotments Nos. 28, 27, and 26 of the Village of Raupo; and towards the north-west by Allotment No. 11 of the said Village of Raupo: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 48688A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a municipal endowment.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Allotment No. 3 of the Suburbs of Raupo, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Allotment No. 2 of the Suburbs of Raupo; towards the south-east by Okahu Road; towards the south-west by Allotment No. 4 of the Suburbs of Raupo; and towards the north-west by Tokatoka Road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 48688B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured purple. For a site for a public school.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Sections Nos. 282 and 283A of the Parish of Te Papa, containing by admeasurement 22 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 73, 915, 861, and 191 links respectively; towards the south by Section No. 283 of the Parish of Te Papa, 1475 links; towards the east by the said Section No. 283, 756, 700, 495, and 848 links respectively; towards the south-east by Section 283 aforesaid, 716 links; and towards the west generally by a public road to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 42869, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a reserve for road purposes.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 328A of the Parish of Te Papa, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the east by the Waimapu River; towards the south-east by a public road, 570 and 795 links respectively; towards the south by a public road, 100 links; and towards the north-west by Section No. 328 of the Parish of Te Papa, 1495 and 370 links respectively, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 42869A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. Bounded towards the north-east by the Waimapu River; towards the south by Section No. 304 of the Parish of Te Puna; towards the west and north-west by a public road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 42869B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a reserve for road purposes.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 575 of the Parish of Te Papa, containing by admeasurement 26 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east generally by a public road, 593, 454, 367, 1008, and 657 links respectively; towards the south by Section No. 574 of the Parish of Te Papa; and towards the west by a public road, 386 and 1890 links respectively, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 42869C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a reserve for road purposes.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 288 of the Parish of Te Papa, containing by admeasurement 42 acres 1 rood, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 287 of the Parish of Te Papa; towards the south-east by a public road; towards the south-west by Section No. 290 of the said Parish of Te Papa; and towards the west by a public road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 42869D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a water reserve.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 146 of the Parish of Te Papa, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 199 of the Parish of Te Papa; towards the south-east and south-west by Section No. 200 of the said parish; and towards the north-west by a public road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 42869E, deposited
